So to the 61% of Canadians who did not vote for Harper last time please consider the future of this country and where we stand now compared to before. Always ask yourself are you better off now than you were 10 years ago. I think the answer is clear.
I hope Quebec realizes it holds the key to voting out this government and once again a vote for the Bloc is a throw away. The niqab is a distraction tactic that the PQ used provincially in the last election here. We all know how that worked out for Marois.

Name them. Name the dozen different ways the Cons have screwed us over with horrible stuff.
Thing is, I remember the last election and the hysteria during that campaign. The Conservatives had had two successive minorities and the opposition supporters were screeching that the Conservatives had a 'secret agenda' that they'd implement if they got a majority. Remember that? The scary secret agenda.
Then the Conservatives did get a majority, and guess what? No secret agenda. Gay marriage wasn't outlawed, abortion rights weren't taken away... nothing. Nothing happened. Oops.
Now all the opposition has is that the Conservatives ran a deficit - but if they hadn't then people in Canada would have suffered and they'd be at 5% in the polls right now. Oh, and the Conservatives supported the oil sector. How dare they do that when it was employing so many people and underpinning our economy...
Funny thing is I look at the message boards at CBC and CTV and the national newspaper websites and there's such a genuine hatred for Harper from so many. I just don't get it.
I guess ideology blinds many people to simple reality.

Try again. Patty had the correct number, I even quoted it. She doesn't need to make things up to make her points.
There's far too many people fabricating things in this election (remember that fake website you posted that I debunked? You didn't even have the good grace to apologize for posting that crap.). If you can't win with honesty then you don't deserve to win at all.

@Patty Smyth ....to play devil's advocate, an 18 yr old was 8 10yrs ago which will put them in grade 3 back then, and not much has changed if parents are still providing for them.
A 28 yr old was 18 back then and just leaving high school, same story as above. For a person to be better off than they were 10 yrs ago, they can't just sit on their @$$ and expect the Govt / spouse provide for them, onus is on everyone of us to gain the right skills to provide for ourselves.
