I have bought a couple of product lately that had expired coupons either on them or in them. When I have found the expired coupons I have emailed the company and they have sent me new ones!
Don't know if this will work all the time, but it is worth a try. Has anyone else had success doing this?

That is GOOD to know! I will go back into my recycling and retrieve my Kellogg's expired cereal coupons!! I still have the bill, so I will definitely give this a try.

I once bought 2 Airwick scented oil warmers at Zellers with expired Try Me Free forms on them. I emailed sC Johnson & they sent me a cheque for $15!
denise
Just editing to say that thye were actually Glade air fresheners and not Airwick. This was a few years ago, so the memory is a little fuzzy!Last edited by coupondiva; Mon, Feb 9th, 2009 at 11:21 PM. Reason: wrong brand

I was thinking about doing this with an eastside marios frozen dinner that I bought, it had a $5 off coupon for the restaurant and it had expired Dec 31, 2008. The packages have best before dates so they keep putting out more packages with the expired coupons on them.

I'm waiting right now for a response from RCSS. I bought a product last week that had a 10 gift card coupon under the celphane wrapper. When I opened it and was able to read the back of the coupon, it had expired Dec/08. I sent them off an e-mail this past weekend with a scan of my bill and the front and back of their coupon. Waiting to hear...
Thanks for letting me know that there is a chance I might hear from them.
