Latest news by Jon Paul Morosi is that if Alex Anthopoulos was the GM David Price would have been offered a contract.
Whether he would have accepted it or not is mere speculation, but the fact that he was not even offered a contract by the new regime is one indication of why AA is no longer here. This could be an indication of the psychological differences between AA and Shapiro.
I no longer have a very good feeling about the change in direction that the Blue Jays have taken with the hiring of Shapiro.
Remember that he came from an unsuccessful Major League franchise and appears to be intent on stocking Blue Jays management with all his loser staff from Cleveland.
I certainly see this as a bad turn of events for the Blue Jays in the years to come.
Time will only tell if my suspicion is correct.
My opinion only of course.

Well as I posted a couple of hours ago and predicted, Ross Atkins long time Cleveland Indians executive has been named the new Blue Jays General Manager.
I guess that soon we will be known as the Toronto Indians.
