Good question. Someone hacked into my account,put herself on my bill pay list.
Good thing I had alerts set up.
Bank says it's on my end.
I refuted.
Closed account.
End of story.

for $400 bucks nope, this is Florida after all.
no money was taken, so no crime occurred
it's only 'attempted' fraud.

Sun Trust has only 1 layer of security.
User name , then password.
Good security has 2 layers of security.
User name , password then answer a security question.
Much safer.
Also, much easier to deal with TD bank down here.
Simple to transfer funds from Canadian TD to U.S. TD.
