Good morning, everyone.
Brats woke me up early to play. Needless to say, they're napping now, or pretending to, in order to get out of helping. Been trying to catch up on housework. Blech. Oh well, small price to pay for having fun.
Have another round of theatre tonight & company coming tomorrow. Lily dog will be in heaven.
Better get back to the not-so-fun chores.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I haven't grocery shopped in 2 mths almost so my oldest dd is taking me out for the day tomorrow .The good thing about being housebound,i haven't sent any money.http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/411352-...-lists-canada/

@YOU AND ME so sorry to hear about your depression, I certainly understand what you are going through and can absolutely relate about not wanting to leave the house when we're feeling like that. Hope you get some answers about your wrist (hugs)

A financial day today for me as Sweet Sparrow would say. 1st property tax installment paid (due at end of month)
Enbridge bill paid (approx. $20 cheaper then last month which is great)
Spent $30 (even) at Food Basics. .99 sale is dangerous but think I did well and have lots of drinks in the fridge for all the teens etc (lemonade, choc milk on for .99) Also wraps are on for .99 so bought more so I can take the taco meat out of freezer tonight and that's what the kids can have for dinner! Will make up a bag of Cavendish nuggets as well that I bought for .99. And salad. Dinner done and simple and easy! And then I can get at cleaning/organizing and posting stuff for sale

My nephew took me to the eye specialist this morning.First time I`ve been out of the house in over a week. My eye was still good so he didn`t do an injection. He said he wanted me in and out as fast as possible...didn`t want anyone to get sick.
Afterwards we went out for lunch. Had a BLT...real food tasted soo good after not being able to eat for a week.
Last night was the first I didn`t have to sleep in the recliner. Cough is much better.
I really hate asking for help. If hubby is sick things go on as usual because I take care of things but when I get sick everything stops.
Just got a call from AnnaMae`s. Someone ordered a pink ruffled afghan. Thank goodness they don`t need it til the end of March. @YOU AND ME I hope your Dr. is wrong about your wrist not healing. Depression is a b!tch to deal with.

Got my 2nd Mark's order this afternoon, tucked ds1's hoody away for Christmas .
I noticed a defect in the coat I ordered for my dad, called Mark's they are shipping a replacement and will call in a day or 2 with instructions of what to do with the defective jacket (my guess bring to nearest Marks store).
I really love their customer service and of course shopping from home
Showed ds1 the coat I ordered for him, he loves it but said I love the coat I already have (also Columbia but a canvas coat). He said he will think about whether or not he'll keep the new coat. I have really good kids who value what they have AND never ask for anything, I am truly blessed .
No shipment from Lowes yet2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Noticed an Old Navy email with "35 percent off". I trashed it then thought I better take a look and see what sales are on (I usually buy tons of new swim and cargo shorts for boys this time of year- the best sale/deal and sizes are available- And my baby is growing like a weed!!! So he needs new shorts for sure) Well the cargo shorts were on for $13.50 and nice polo tops on for $8 and the discount worked on top of that sale price!!!!! (one nice coloured polo was on for $6.50 but now further discount)
So for $56 I bought him 4 pairs of cargo shorts and 3 polo tops!!! He is set (he has sport shorts and t-shirts that fit) So now he will have some nice new looking outfits )) SO add that to the list now- I am going to pull all his too small stuff tonight and post for sale!
