RCSS - West, stocking up for the office
    1st transaction
    ryle vel. bath tissue (12 = 24 rolls) = $7.98 (I didn't have any more $1 off coupons) x 2
ON the package, it had $1.50 off Tiger towel peelie, plus another one on the back that you can cut out. (**just saw that that one on the back expired Oct. 31/15, so don't use it!)
    +200 points each
    2nd trasaction
Ryle tiger towels 4.98 each - $1.50 peelie x 2. Towels had the peelie for free Windex trigger wub2.
    plus 200 points each
plus they allowed me to get a free windex trigger* (value at $3)
*checked at customer service before the transaction just to be sure.

NO FRILLS - WEST - just a bit of highlights and ad matching

    Royale 6 pack tissues = $3.97 - $1 mfc = $2.97

    Royale tiger towels = $4.97 - $1 mfc = $3.97

    Oasis 1L juice, price match RCSS = 4 x $1

Tropicana, price match RCSS = 6 x $2.47 (think these are around $5 ea)

    Delissio Rustico, price match Co-op = 3/$10 + 1400 pc points

    Schneiders Natural lunch meat, price match RCSS = 6 x $3.98 - (6 x $2.50 mfc) + 2 free Ready Crisp
edit: forgot to add that got 3600 pc points for Schneiders deli meat
    (300/$2)

    Gillette Fusion, holder + 2 extra blades = 3 x $9.94 on clearance - (3 x $3 tearpad) = $6.94 each
    Cheaper than buying replacement blades!!

Oh, and that rib pork loin! $1.88 lb. Gonna make a batch of pork cutlets, then use all the trimmings for a great stir-fry. Any left-over pieces will go in the freezer for broth for borscht.

Ended up spending $106 out of pocket, used $37.94 in mf coupons.

    ************************************************** *********************************

I've only been ad matching for a couple of months and am very grateful to all the great postings from others. I've saved lots of $$$$ because of YOU.

If you want to use up some of your $2.50 coupons, you can pm Shoppers which has the ML Natural Selections deli meat for $3.99 .

    You're welcome!

I had never tried GrainShop cereal before but, for $ .99 (after $2.00 coupon), it was worth checking it out. It's actually very good! Five different grains and not too sweet.

missmaggs they weren't on the regular clearance rack but at the back with the exercise stuff and supplements. A clearance shelf I guess. I looked at a different SDM today but didn't see any.

I tried these with those sample packs in the mail a long while ago and I find they have better glue and are generally more comfy than actual period pads so I switched for those lighter days when I don't want to wear tampons. I can usually find them cheaper too.

About cars, didn't get a SCOP but still got a deal.
The car is now old and has hundreds of kilometers on it.

Bought the car on a Saturday for pick up on a Tuesday. Monday morning, radio commercial said $500 Esso gas card if you buy the car. Dealer said No, since we bought Saturday. We said we don't pick up until Tuesday and haven't taken possession. Dealer said No. So we called head office. Head office called the dealer. We got
    • $500 gas card
    • $500 new grad discount
    • car kit (bag with small car items - not worth too much)
    • pre delivery inspection charge removed ($200-500 off)
    • 0% interest
    • 5 free oil changes
    • car delivered to home (part of the "I'm sorry", so we didn't have to travel to the dealership
    • apology from the dealership manager

I did my first Click & Collect order from RCSS. They asked me to do the survey for my experience and I said that they can contact me about my survey.

So I just got a call today and told the person about my experience and I wasn't that happy about my shopping. So she gave me $20 off coupon, no expiry.

I guess I am going to use it again. She said that they would try to improve it, so I will see...
