    Hi Everyone,

    Hubby does like all the free (or next to free) bacon we've got lately and I hope he does not notice the new packs I just recently added.

    Sooooo, went to get some allergy meds from the Shoppers pharmacy and like and good SC'r I look at the clearance section and for rip and sticks on my way out. Sure enough there they were.....18 packs of Maple Leaf bacon...expiring on the 22nd with $2.00 rip and sticks on them! Then right below it...the good ol' ready crisp bacon. So here's what I did.....

    18 packs of bacon
    4x $4.49 - 4x $2.50 coupons and 4x $2 peelie = free
    14x $4.99 - 14x $2.50 coupons and 14x $2 peelie = $7

    6x of ready crisp bacon
    6x @ $4.99 - 6 FPC (WUB3) = free
    Saved $45 on the regular bacon and $29.94 for the readycrisp (total $74.94)
    Got 12000 points for spending over $50!!! (What's that just over $10 back...)

    Let's hope he doesn't open the freezer...because if he does....

    Well done Koolaid! So they did not give you any grief over using the ML coupon with the mgrs peelie (rip & stick..I like that, took me a minute to figure out what it was lol)? That is one awesome shop and now I have that tune in my head!

    Yup loving these bacon deals. I walked into the man cave and my husband was telling his poker buddies about his 'coupon queen wife' and his freezer full of bacon. Haha

    Still singing and laughing about your post! Still giving away bacon too! Teaching others in the office how it's done and getting caught up in their excitement. Couponing, price matching, scop. Each time someone learns something new I get such a kick out of it! My favorite though is reading that someone's husband is bragging about her! You go girl!
