Sunny, hovering in the upper 20's during the day. Now we have smoke from the wildfires in Fort Mac. My throat is itchy and I'm coughing. Friends are coping with unexpected house guests. I work an evening shift taking fast food orders, there are many orders from the evacuated.

Fri, May 6th, 2016, 03:44 PM #7533I have many family & friends who live in Ft Mac..all made it out safe but are scattered all over...all so sad, thankfully there are so many kind and generous people..there are many living in Ft Mac just from my tiny community, we have a couple of fundraisers happening this weekend to do whatever we can to help..

Overcast, with smoky haze from the forest fires. It's 11 right now. No rain in the forecast, darn! However, it's great to see how people are coming together to help out the evacuated.
