Found a rack of reduced bread tonight at Loblaws for .10 each - bought 4 Villagio Sesame and a Cinnamon Raisin loaf. There were still plenty of loaves there of varying kind there but expiry date was today.
    I am happy.

Loblaws (Toronto, Redway) had some candy cups filled with mixed penny candy, marked down from $2.99 to .99 yesterday. When I got home and realized it had scanned at 2.99 I decided to go back tonight...the service mgr. said it was a clerical error, not scop, but now the price was .49, so she gave me 2.50 back, and I bought a few more. Bad for the teeth, bad for the waistline, but fun to share with kids.

Besides my almost free Go-pro (using points and just paying the tax), I bought the Astro Athentikos Greek yogurt at Independent on sale for 2/$7.00, wait you say, that's not a deal!! It is when you use the $3.00 off coupon for each pack, total for 2 pack $1.00, .50 cents a pack!!

It's more tangy than spicy. You get a hint of pepper at the end. Going to use it to spice up dinners, and put it on the side.
Wanted to try it too but not when it was $2.99. I think they got too much so they are temporarily reducing the price. I think the price will go up again.

Target's semi-annual toy clearance is in July. I read that many of the clearance toy items are marked down to 70% off on the last Thursday in July. Since I was on vacation in the States, my very patient husband and I hit 7 different Targets on that Thursday within a one-hour driving distance from where we were staying.

Lego (City, Friends, Disney, Elves and Technic), Meccano, Thomas & Friends, Frozen, Paw Patrol, Toy Story, Baby Alive and a number of games . . . I'm now done toy shopping for this Christmas and upcoming birthdays! I loved, loved, loved being able to shop at Target and see those wonderful red clearance stickers!!!

While in the States, I also picked up Clifford items from Kohl's "Kohls Cares for Kids" program. For $5.00 each, I picked up multiple stuffed Cliffords, Emily Elizabeths, Clifford backpacks (so cute!) and several stuffed friends. Clifford the Big Red Dog is my all-time favourite storybook character so I was very happy to be able to get these!

Toys! Toys! Toys! My stockpile is looking good!

Darn! We're going to the States next week and I was hoping to get some toy deals for dd's birthday in September. Will have to remember to plan out trip for the end of July next year!

While on vacation, I moved several PC Plus digital offers forward. One was 1,000 pts for every $5.00 spent on Pep. Farm Goldfish. Then, this past Friday, I received an offer for 400 pts for every $2.00 spent on Pep. Farm Goldfish. So, at Fortinos:

    21 x Pep. Farm Goldfish @ $2.00 each = $42.00

    7 x B2G1 Free coupons = - $14.00

    Earned 8,000 pts (from 1,000 pts every $5.00 spent) + 8,400 pts (from 400 every $2.00 spent) = 16,400 pts = $16.40 value

    $42.00 - $14.00 (coupons) - $16.40 (points value) = $11.60

It works out to about 56 cents per package of Goldfish!
