I had to look it up too

    Event Description

Safely destroy documents and personal papers while you watch. Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary offers shredding semi annually as part of its community service efforts. May 9, 9 AM to 1 PM at Eccles Auto Service, 200 King St. W. Dundas. $6 a small bank box

I think I'd feel much better doing it myself. There was no more info on a bank box. I lm thinking like a fire proof safe? ??? That would be worth it

Those white boxes you buy at Staples (and assemble yourself) for file storage-regular files or legal files. Think the club's version of small banker's box is the regular file size box.

The local Rotary Clubs tend to hold a spring shredding day and a fall shredding day. It's rare to see someone else hold this event unless it's a fundraiser for someone/cause.

This is a great idea if you don't have your own shredder but have some mail or files with personal information that you want destroyed.
