In London-CF Masonville Place expansion opens on Friday. @avoncallingu, the UWO students with ID get free cab service between campus and the mall, so you might want to wait another day to mall crawl with DH north of the campus.

CF Masonville Place will also host a social media contest inviting consumers to share their shopping experience on social media using the hashtag #MasonvilleChange. Those who use the hashtag and post on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter will be eligible to win one of six CF SHOP! Cards. Winners must be in-property during the event to pick up their gift card.

Now open-new medical clinic, that is part of the Jack Nathan medical clinic chain, at Walmart Ancaster Supercentre. Someone was handing out postcard notices to WM customers today so I accepted the card. Appointments and walk-ins accepted. Mon-Fri 9:30am-8pm & Sat. 10am-3pm. Closed Sunday. Office has exterior door by the garden centre or you can walk to almost where the new pharmacy is and look right to see the interior door from the store side.

Likely opening soon (end of Nov or maybe by Dec 3?)-new standalone McDonald's on far side of Longo's Ancaster parking area. Exterior of building has the McD colours already. Have seen hiring ads online.

Grand reopening Sat. Nov. 26-Shoppers Drug Mart Ancaster (Wilson St W & Fiddlers Green Rd). Opening at 8am (hours will be 8am-10pm, seven days per week). Source-glossy insert in community paper bundle. I'm looking forward to Food Store specials for eggs, butter and more.

Open-Sally Beauty at 1191 Wilson St W (Wilson Common), Ancaster. Storefronts next to it indicate FYIdoctors and Tootsies Shoe Market are coming soon. Orange Theory fitness has moved next to Great Clips in the same plaza.

The new McDonalds in Ancaster (1175 Wilson Street West) will have its grand opening on Dec.11 per Snapd Hamilton (Dec) issue.
Kids activities will be held from 11am-2pm, with ribbon cutting with dignitaries and Ronald McDonald at 2:30pm.

Dec. 2-8: McD's coffee will be $1 with proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House.
Dec. 9-18, there will be various specials.

Just some notes about their drive-thru lane sign if coming off of Portia Drive-you cannot follow the curved drive all the way through as there is construction fencing for the northeast corner. Better to drive up to the LCBO and turn left and aim for middle of the lot where the arch for the drive through is. If you come off of Wilson St by the Longos store, you'll be turning right. Be aware that the drive-thru exit is right at the customer crosswalk for the restaurant entrance-look for people!
