Hahahahahaha....okay, it's because it was NFL play-off weekend, and my two favourite teams were playing (not each other, thank goodness!), that I had to nibble on non-healthy stuff!!!
Tomorrow, back on that wagon!! Ahhh...shades of 2014~~!

I make something like this but I use eggs instead of pork and omelette-ize it. Awesome brushed with oyster sauce but that's pretty ketchup-level sugary and D doesn't like that.

I have a chunk of cabbage in the back of my fridge and a bag with 2 carrots hanging around. Thanks for the disposal idea! I'd half forgotten about them and I need to do this one soon.

I've lost another 1.6lbs since I bought my digital scale 13 days ago.

In just over a year I have lost 20lbs and 4" off my waist. I measure at my belly button to ensure that I am measuring at the same spot each time. I've already surpassed my healthy goal weight, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing now. I mostly want to maintain my weight and get toned up more. I've always been self-conscious of my belly and having twins certainly gave me stretch marks on the lower half of my belly. It comes with the territory, but I'd still like to tighten it up.

I am down .9 this week. I am currently reviewing skinny taste for things I can make ahead and freeze. We are about to embark on a full kitchen Reno. Which means meals will be tough so if I have some ready I won't be tempted by fast food. Or easy food like pasta.

Hello, Again! I've been so busy that I haven't been posting much, BUT I'm on Day 3 of my WW diet, and it was easier than I thought it would be. Of course, after I weighed myself, the incentive was sky-high. Ugh. So much for doing nothing for the past couple of years. I'm actually doing more...okay, we're sharing, the cooking now and with my DH with me on this journey, it's easy to stick to it. Easy-ish, anyway..
@lilo0003, that kitchen reno can sure challenge a diet, it would be so easy to grab take-out instead of trying to cook around it. I've used skinny taste before as well as laaloosh for ideas. Good luck cooking Ahead!

We are hoping for an April start because then we will easily be able to BBQ. I have a good list ready and will check out the other site you mention. For noe. I am going to make the pumpkin loaf. Both the older teen and I love it. If you are on the smart points plan with WW it's 4 points. I reduce the sugar as I find it sweet. It freezes well and make a nice treat. Or even a breakfast

@lilo0003 , is that the recipe I once posted from allrecipes.com? Omgoodness that's so fantastic, it's our grandson's favourite muffin...I add raisins for him.

Yes, I am on WW Points, I find it's the easiest for me and once I've gone through our favourite meals and put them in my journal it's easy to keep track of them. I didn't join, heaven knows I've been on it many times and regained by my own fault, not theirs...I lost 48 lbs from this time until May 14th, in 2014 when I fell, so I know I can do it again.

Good plan re bbq-ing...oh, I can't wait!!! Good luck!

I just saw a commercial for Green Giant riced vegetables, for those wanting to reduce their carbs and increase their vegetables. This is 100% vegetable, according to the commercial.

I went to look at that, I did not find it on the Cdn site but it is on the US site here https://www.greengiant.com/products/#riced-veggies

I would buy the sweet potato one - I would make soup with that, chicken stock, onions, little rice-shaped pastas or rice.

    Interesting product!

My first thing would be to look in the ingredients though to see if they snuck any bad stuff into it unnecessarily. Is snuck a word?

Wow, they sure caught on to what dieters are doing and putting a high price on It!
We riced a big head of cauliflower yesterday to make a side dish of Chinese fried rice and it filled a large deep frying pan. For the price of a head of cauliflower we have enough leftover for dinner tonight. I'd love to see the amount of it in that bag ...for the price, our comparable head of cauliflower would probably be astronomical!
We're supposed to be saving money here.....cutting up a cauliflower and tossing it in a food processor is still the best option.I'll have to look up the ingredients, also...

Lol...they even have veggie tots! Good idea for a new homemade Recipe!

Hello! Hope everyone is doing well. We had the livingroom moved for painting so finally back in order and my treadmill is calling my name. Will hang the laundry up that is draped on it and power that baby up .

Meals are mostly prepped for the week so will give me lots of time to work out which is great. I have a DVD and stepper and weights that I would like to start using so thinking tonight treadmill and tomorrow night try out the dvd.

    Hi!!

So busy lately, but I also made a super-dumb mistake....I've been using the old system of WW points, which gives me around 22 points per day, but using the new system to calculate those points! No wonder I've been feeling like I'm walking into walls!! I've been low by about 10 points!

No idea what I've lost, but my clothes feel more comfy, so I know it's working...Keep up the great work, everyone!!!
