Songbird SOS
The music of songbirds is vanishing from our forests, fields, and gardens. The change has been gradual, barely noticeable, but now the growing silence is alarming. Saving songbirds before it's too late.

Lots of hummingbirds zooming around my apartment looking for some nectar as it's been freezing weather around here lately.

Cedar wax wings, swooped in a pack of at least 20. What beauties, seemed to be eating berries off the juniper tree.

The lady on the first floor of our apartment building has a bird feeder so we benefit with birds dropping by. I have seen a nuthatch, chickadees, and woodpecker in the last week - I think pilliated (is that right?)
I love birds and trees. We have a forested area across the street from us.
