thanks Crochetlady! Also kitty-I am in Alberta but I have seen the birds you are talking about I think in Alberta too. I have wondered what they are and thought maybe white geese or something. But then again-a tundra swan should not be found in Alberta right? so maybe the ones I see are white geese...or really lost tundra swans! lol So far the only birds here are chickadees, one sparrow and a couple magpies. Can't wait for spring!

Hi Dealsniffer, maybe there are swans in Alberta also. Magpies are noisy aren't they, don't think we have those birds here. Maybe you will get lucky and be able to have the chickadees eat some seeds out of your hand.

hey Kitty-yes magpies are the most annoying irritating birds EVER! they are pests and when we had sheep we had a major problem with them because they would peck at the sheep and cause problems. They make the most awful racket. Also we had to get a magpie trap finally at one point yrs ago because they were so bad. You are lucky not to have magpies-you want some? lol Anyways maybe there might be swans here too as well I agree. I should look in our bird book. Funny story-my sister put some seed in her hand the other day not expecting to have a chickadee come towards her and when one actually did, she freaked out and the bird who was close flew away. I have thought I should try it. That would be neat.

So I went to my doctors to day with my Sharpie marked legs. ANd it help her see where my pain is and is coming from. She prescribed a stronger med now ( thank you Rache1496l) , and is sending me to an Orthopedic doctor as an urgent case. I'm meeting my Neurologist in two weeks but she is sure he will not take on this too in the first meeting and more then likely require me to wait another 10 months. So she is sending a letter to the Orthopedic Doctor, how every she did say if my new Neurologist want to help she is more then willing to let him and have the file fax right away to him. Things are getting better. Well except I know more doctors in Saskatoon then people, oh well.

Dealsniffer, hope you get a chance to feed the chickadees, its awesome! Those magpies sound like they are kind of mean. We have lots of crows and they are just noisy also. Any wild Turkeys in Alberta? Had a herd of deer in the field the other day after the snow started melting, neat to watch.
Yesi, good to read that you got some kind of results, hope you don't have to wait too long to see the next Doc.
Skippy, How are you feeling today?
Take care Everyone!!

Had to go to London with DH yesterday to see an eye specialist. It`s a 1 1/2 hour drive, then we were at the hospital 4 hours and another 1 1/2 hours home. I am so stiff and sore today. I don`t usually need pain meds anymore but today I`ll be using them again. And after all that DH is not allowed to drive so I have to do all the driving for at least the next few months. I`m so not looking forward to getting up at 4:30 to get him to work. Mornings are not good for me.
Yes I`m cheap- Glad to hear you may finally get some answers.

Good luck Crochet Lady. It's hard when you can't drive or when you have to start doing most of the driving.

Yesi-glad to hear some progress was made and hoping that there is possibly a cancelation or something that you can get in sooner than 10 months. Kitty we have crows too and between the magpies and crows I am not sure which is more annoying! Not sure about wild turkeys in our area though. Crochetlady-oh that does not sound good. I hope the stiffness and pain level goes down a bit. Thanks Centrallycalm! As for me, my one leg is bothering me-I think I pushed myself too far with my walk yesterday. oops. Yesterday I was having spasms still but I am hoping it is better today. Yesterday the weather was sooo beautiful (+4) and there is a lounge chair outside still and the snow was cleared off so I lounged in the sun for about 20 min! Sun bathing Canadian style! My mom laughed because I was in a winter coat with snow all around me on a lounge chair and the two didn't quite mix. That really felt so nice-the warmth of the sun. I have missed that. My back was complaining after but it was worth it.

aw that is too bad Crochetlady. The weather for tomorrow is supposed to drop to -15 so this is short lived. I completely understand the cold weather thing-last week we were in -35 windchill and like -28 without windchill. Weather is a rollercoaster isn't it? Hopefully your drive does not leave you in too much pain.

Thanks for the kind thought Dealsniffer. My wrists are feeling some better tonight. Driving always bothers them, but I did some crocheting tonight to get them moving again. Are your back and leg feeling any better?
I guess we`re starting to get your warmer weather. Tomorrow is supposed to be on the plus side.

haha Crochetlady-it seems our weather is always opposite huh? when you get warm I get cold weather and vice versa. Well I don't mind as long as it evens out in the end.
I don't want to hog all the nice weather over here. Tomorrow is supposed to drop to -15 without windchill which is a big difference from the past couple days. Oh well. We have quite a snow storm headed our way tonight too it seems. Glad to hear that crocheting helps a bit with your wrists. Thanks for asking about me-my leg has been good and bad today. I think my bursitis might be kind of acting up in my hip a bit. Usually if it is at this point and I spend the day off of it as much as possible it gets better on it's own. If not it actually gets bad and I am limping around for alot longer. It is so hard to stay down but it helps in the long run so I do what I gotta do. Today no spasms! So my back is not so bad today.
