I was actually a little bit better in the summer. I want to go on vacation again :O To be honest, when I was on vacation in Cuba I had never felt better! I spent all day in a swim suit, and I found swimming almost all day long, helped me a lot with mobility the rest of the day. Kind of made me feel like a senior thinking of "swimming exercise" but all the physio and pain medication in the world, couldn't compare to how much that helped me.. until I got to the air port and was stuck standing/sitting to long just killed all of it lol

I went and sat in the hot tub yesterday with the seniors while my kids had their lessons. Helped a lot, but I guess I gotta face the facts...my body thinks I'm a senior.

So I got 80% on the pre-test (I managed to stay on the treadmill, sort of
). The rest of the stress test went a bit wonky. Trust me to do weird things. On the plus side, I get to meet with the heart specialist I like (she climbs mountains for fun - I get tired just listening to her adventures!). We'll see how tomorrow's consult goes. Then more tests on Wed. Don't think I'll bother cramming for that one, since I didn't do so well this time.

Good luck! I used to climb mountains for fun too! Some of the best times of my life.

So it looks like my body's doing wonky things again (just once in my life I'd like to be semi-normal
). The blip on my test may or may not mean anything. The only way to know is to have an angiogram (depending on the results, something even more exciting & invasive). & here I was hoping 2012 would be anaesthetic-free.
On the plus side, it will be a new adventure, since I've never had one before. & I do love getting my money's worth out of OHIP.
I have a glucose tolerance test tomorrow (& xrays & an ultrasound). Oh well, I'm half-way through the scheduled appts (only 5 to go). There's something to be said for having all your appts in 2 weeks (assuming one can stay awake).

Had 5hrs of testing at the hospital today. Except for the angio, I'm done with major tests til next year (here's hoping).
Anyone else notice that when one is being poked & prodded, the "regular" pain disappears?

I'm thinking about getting a dog, a small one such as a Yorkie, chihuahua, or mini-schnauzer. I think the kids would really like it, but I"m not sure if I want more work. We have a nice back yard, but I'm not so sure about the doggie-doo clean up (bending isn't so good some days). I'm ok to walk most of the time, but am thinking a small dog would be ok to just run in the house mainly. Guess I"m looking for a friend to cuddle with me when I feel bad. Kids won't like a Finch even though I would. Cats & other furry animals are not an option with my allergies.
