Here, the kids get off the week after Easter.
In Saskatchewan we have Christmas break for about 2wks, February break is always the week of Family Day, and we also have the week off connected with Easter Monday.

Before Saskatchewan got Family Day the February break varried depending on the school division, this might be similar to March break in other provinces.

barbS: I loved a man called ove, read it last summer before the hype and was just so touched by it. I found breathe becomes air to be ok, but most likely because I read it after the hype so expected amazing things, now that I am on the train every day I plan to return to read and keep my phone away.
The storm seems delayed but we are getting a good dose of winter now. I won't be sad to not have to drive Tuesday and will enjoy my most likely delayed go train ride.

After 4 months without daycare kids, I have lowered my daycare fees. Having a lower profit margin is still better than having no profit at all. I hope this makes a difference, 4 months without me having any income is harmful to our family finances. I have updated my Facebook advertisement and I'm starting to put new ads up around town.

Made it back to to TO yesterday in the storm. Several cars crashed or slipped off the road and even found out what the emergency detour routes off the 401 are for when they close parts of the road. We crossed at Windsor-now hoping I will be able to fly out of YYZ home.

Our March Break (Ontario) is usually the middle week of the month. It has always been like this. A few years they gave a P.A. day on the Friday of the March weekend start. But some schools had it last Friday instead this year.

What is the population of your town? It is a town right? Is there employment in your town that draws people to commute from other area towns?

No snow for us this morning. There was a light dusting last night but nothing today and roads are bone dry. My honey is tired of the cold and told me he doesn't want to go outside till May lol. I think we need to plan/book a trip South next winter for sure.

Dinner tonight will be something with the whole chicken that is cooked and in the fridge. Will whip it up quick when I get home then get started on laundry. I didn't do anything last night even though I have a pile waiting.

    Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone.

Estevan has a population of about 12,000 people, a small city in SK. It has 6 elementary schools and 1 high school. A lot of people commute in from smaller communities.

We have loads of snow. its the heaviest snowfall all winter. We are just south of the lake so I think we are getting that dumping that Hamilton was to get. I am in TO today and its not too bad, at least spring is on its way.
Lizzie: Glad you made it back, my parents live on a road that runs parallel to the 401 so they can always tell when the highway has issue as they can't get out of the driveway.
