You can try for a pizza slice at Pizza Pizza this month if you have one of the small gadgets that the shop will take in your area, @Shwa Girl :

Pizza Pizza is accepting small end-of-life electronic devices, including smart phones, digital cameras and mp3 players. With the help of Electronic Products Recycling Association (EPRA) and Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES), the devices will be recycled safely and securely, with proceeds from the process donated to Pizza Pizza´s Slices for Smiles Foundation, supporting Children´s Miracle Network.

Paint can be handy if there is any indoor or outdoor surface needing a refresh or new look! Warm enough today for painting (more than 15C). I don't miss painting the old wooden picnic table-had to wait for one side to dry before flipping table another way to get the other side of wood painted on same day. The clothesline post and a bracket both need Rustoleum paint right now...

Our Spring Scrap Metal Drive isSaturday April 22 from 9 AM to 1 PM atthe Olympic Drive (Westoby) Arenasponsored by Budget Environmental.We collect metals and electronics. It isboth a fundraiser and an opportunityfor youth to practice a work discipline.

Electronics Recycling

Outreach is hosting the 3nd annual Electronics event on Friday May 12 (4-8 p.m.) and Saturday May 13th (8-4 p.m.). As you start your spring cleaning, please consider recycling your used electronics and diverting them from our landfills. A partial list of items being collected includes; desktop computers, portable computers, keyboards, mice, desktop printers, printers, photocopiers, multi-function devices, c ellular phones, display devices, televisions, monitors, personal or portable Audio/Video Systems, corded and cordless telephones, as well as telephone answering machines.

Missed posting last weekend's scrap metal drive in Dundas.

But wait, there's a May e-waste recycling drive (near end of the month) at an Ancaster church.

Start your spring cleaning and donate your old electronics to the 3 ^rdannual electronics recycling event being held on May 25 (4-8), May 26 ^th(9-5) and May 27 ^th (a.m. only) in the front parking lot. Electronics include any type of television, video or DVD players, radios, cell phones (MUST BE WIPED CLEAN), cordless phones. Items do not need to be functioning. This event helps to support Outreach.
New this year - we will also be collecting used clothing in support of the Ontario Foundation for Cerebral Palsy.

Location: Marshall Memorial United Church, 20 Gilbert Avenue, Ancaster, ON Canada L9G 1R4
Site is on the corner of Gilbert Avenue and Fiddlers Green Rd. The HSR 16-Ancaster bus runs past the church (North only in mornings, South only in afternoon). The stop is near the church (as there is a traffic light too on Fiddlers Green Rd).
