Young dandelion leaves are as nutritious as kale and much easier to grow.
Not that I would eat anything green on purpose

was a scary moment on Sunday as we settled in to watch the Jays game. the tv signal went out!!! Oh the horror!! Stupid heavy rains! The signal came back shortly though so I did not have to continue fretting....and today it is simply lovely out!

Lovely day in the hood today -- cleaned the sunroom ... it needed it. Then outside to clean an eavestrough downspout of spring crap (of course I do this AFTER the heavy rains - DOH!!!) then cleaned up the back forest a but and fertilized some plant material. Wednesday is supposed to be 27C here so thinking of doing an early garden centre shop for some ground cover plant material and get an early start on the herbs in the garden (chives survived the winter and are already up!) and plant my tomatoe plants for the season. Let's GROW!

Turns out I was wrong -
Environment Canada has confirmed that Canada’s second and third tornadoes of 2017 touched down north of Saskatoon on Sunday afternoon.

We have some sort of a storm blowing in now - we'll see what that brings.
