Ontario hydro bills will start to show a 8% tax rebate in 2017. But hydro and natural gas bills will have new carbon capture & trade amounts (about $5-7) added to your monthly delivery fees, so not a net zero benefit.

CRA website is transitioning to the Canada.ca site. https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency.html
I decided to use the child and family benefits calculator to find out what my July 2017 HST quarterly payment will be and the OTB for July 10 (you will need to know your family net income for 2016). http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/bnfts/clcltr/cfbc-eng.html
I currently get $69 per quarter for HST. It will become $70 in July.
OTB for 2016 was $291. July 2017 OTB sum will be $4.92 higher ($295.92).
Last month, I planned what to do and it'll involve spending on healthcare. My budget Post-It note resides in my planner and the July 10 date has amounts allocated. The debit card will be warm that day.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Most government benefits and payments were deposited early this month due to Christmas. Usually all other months they come at the end of the month.
But in December they always come much earlier, so check your bank accounts today if you get these type of benefits. Might help you a bit with your X'Mas shopping and other holiday expenses
