I got the small lavender plant at Lowes and popped it into the drier flowerbed. Hope it adjusts well. No rain today (yet)but Ms. Sunshine put in a brilliant bright display around suppertime. Now sky is gloomy again.
One of the red lettuce plants has succumbed to dryness. Now in the green bin. May move the other plant on Monday to the moister flowerbed.
Most customers had full carts of plants at the garden centre!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Front is starting to look good after all the rain. The Golden Chain is happy and the Weigela is coming into its own.

Have some of those purple flowers still in bloom. Some red rose buds are developing on two rose bushes.
The purply red double peonies (two of them) are in bloom while #3 is dawdling.
On a walk, I passed someone's wide flowering bush with mini mauve/white/pink flowers with lilac scent-what a wall of scent!
Noticed that two mint plants got to be about 30cm tall and there were stragglers (little plants) in the back. Had to pull them out-they keep growing in between other plants. Missed chance to save the leaves for cold drinks next week-d'oh!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

My community garden plot !! It rained so hard yesterday I thought my seedlings would be washed away, but they survived !
I planted seeds (carrots, golden and red beets, cuke, zucchini, arugula, spinach, romaine, bush beans) and some seedlings (sweet peas, cuke, lettuce, broccoli and tomatoes). It's such a beautiful location by the ocean....it was a slow start this year as the weather wasn't very good up until a few weeks ago.
