What's For Dinner?

We attended a Potluck BBQ fog supper tonight. Dh requested that I make my baked cheese loaf, which is served with French bread and crackers. There were hamburgers, hotdogs, macaroni salad, Asian noodle salad, potato salad, home made pickled hot peppers, spicy cheese dip, chips, key lime pie, apple pie, chocolate zucchini cake, apple crisp, cake, pumpkin pie, cool whip, and pop.

Husband and son had hotdogs - I tried a bite, but it wouldn't go down... Had a popsicle.

..last night's party was excellent; they served a mixed green salad with dried cranberries and apples, the main was stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes, mashed turnip/rutabaga and carrots and dessert was blueberry cheesecake ...I'm bbqing this evening, steak & potatoes, kale from the garden, etc

Going to have homemade cabbage rolls, artisan bread and a caesar salad. Peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Pan fried cod tongues ,potatoes, peas & carrots and fresh corn on cob and bottle Diet Pepsi
made blueberry cheese cake this morning .. so that's dessert for supper tonite

Pork Loin Roast with roasted Potatoes & Carrots and roasted Broccoli and cauliflower, nice simple dinner everything in the oven and let it bake

Came back from up north and did a couple small deal shops and was just going to grab a pizza slice but I saw rcss had frozen pizza on for 3.33 so I grabbed one. Not near as good as fresh from the pizza place but sure a lot easier

I decided to freeze the smoked chop for another day.

Cheapy reduced veal blade chop instead. Yummy!
Spicy dry rub, cheese and onion stuffed mushroom, redo on the rice, and spicy grilled rapini.
Everything on the BBQ.



Excellent bottle of wine, and I took my cholesterol pill too.
Cheers to the sunset. We deserve it.

Tonight's supper plan is oven baked pork steak, corn on the Cobb, potato salad, apple sauce, and sliced cucumber.
