Watched 21 Jump Street with DD13 today. It was on Much Music so the bad words were bleeped out. Still funny though. She thought it was hilarious.

@Linda Evans , I am glad to be hearing feedback from regular people about that film. It is being so praised and so hyped on TV and online. I keep seeing it described as a "visceral cinematic experience" which has given me the sense that it is *not* likely a film I want to see!

CHIPS - 7/10
Lots of good laughs but way too dirty to share with the kids. Too bad, they would have liked it.

Hitchcock/Truffaut
Tentative star rating ~7 / 10
Some parts were very interesting. In places, it seems like Hitchcock is reading something into a scene that is simply not there. And I mean, some of his own scenes, e.g., in Vertigo. A bit puzzling, really. Anyway, this is certainly a must for any hitchcockologist.

The Great Wall - 7/10
I didn't hate this movie. It certainly wasn't what I was expecting.

Stephen King's It 2017 last night at the theater. OMG it was so scary and good. I kept yelling "this is awesome! Holy S*&%!" over and over. ha ha. it was fun. our small town theater was lined up around the block. after it ended we all clapped. it was that good.
8/10 but only because of continuity errors. Performance wise from Bill Skarsgard 10/10Last edited by TudorChick; Mon, Sep 18th, 2017 at 12:46 AM.

It's worth going even if you watch through your hands like i saw some do. I was surprised someone brought their 8 year old it looked like. But 14, should be fine. It is scary to me anyway but i'm a scaredy cat and love to be scared. If you know the book and the first movie, you kinda know when theings are gonna happen. Go see it, and enjoy.
