The PSVR "Worlds" bundle (previously named the "launch" bundle) which includes the PSVR, Camera, Move controllers, and Worlds game has dropped significantly and is available at Walmart Canada now for $569. (from the original $799) -- Retailers already had these on hand and were granted price-protection from Sony for these bundles so they arent considered "new" inventory, just lower pricing for the same bundle.
The "core" bundle (headset and camera only) is showing available as "online only" item at BestBuy.com (US) for $399 (USD).
I just went through the motions online and if I was so inclined to complete the order, I could have it in my hands by Friday. (I have a border-town shipping address and could have it delivered there by then). Landing there at $499 Canadian, I'd pay the tax coming home, and be spot-on with what Sony's MSRP says I'd pay *if* I could get it locally.
That probably doesnt help you, but just saying, they're out there somewhere.
I would suspect retailers might be reluctant to carry the "Core" bundle simply due to the underwhelming demand that was originally anticipated at (and since) the initial launch... and since MOST users (I'd wager in the high 90% of PS4 owners) would require the Move controllers anyway (at a MSRP of ~$140) only to then come home with no software after buying it all separately... the Worlds bundle is simply just the right call for most consumers.Last edited by bhlombardy; Wed, Sep 13th, 2017 at 10:53 PM.

So, I now see the "core bundle" available in Canada... at the MSRP of $499.99 +tax
https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product.../11471561.aspx
but before you go and order this: Are you looking for that bundle SPECIFICALLY? or are you looking to save bucks because you have the Move controllers already?
Reason I ask is because BB is clearing out their PSVR Headsets only package for $399... based on this snippet from their current flyer:
Attachment 335376
Then you can buy the Camera for $75...
Attachment 335377
Making your total price (before tax) at $474.95... saving you another $25 from the "core bundle" price.
AND there's a better chance you'll get both of these items locally instead of waiting for shipment and delivery of the Core Bundle.
Just saying...Last edited by bhlombardy; Sat, Sep 23rd, 2017 at 09:57 AM.

Sony is coming out with a updated PSVR with the sound integrated into the headset so you may want to wait until that version comes out. Sony baffles me sometimes with their console accessories and additional hardware. Not very cool for those that bought the first iteration of VR.
