Thanks for the reminder! I made a batch in September and I have 1 lunch size portion in the freezer! That will be lunch one day this week when we don't have leftovers/plan!
Need to make another batch of chili and the butternut squash soup I had plans to make! Saturday!!

Tonight's dinner will be the odds and ends in the kitchen freezer. Great way to use them up and feed everyone!

Well the oldest ate the cooked bacon so didn't make ceaser salad. I found a bunch of mini meatloaf that I had made that weren't really a hit lol. So instead I made meatballs (my sister gave to us on weekend) potato puffs and green beans. The oldest was napping so I put his dinner in Tupperware and in the fridge and cleaned the kitchen. He came up later asking what was for dinner and I told him. He then told the dog that it sounded really good lol! So he ate his dinner and then I heard him heating up his brothers later. So he did like it But I still need to deal with the odds and ends, tonight maybe!

Hahahaha @ Frugalbigmama! When my DS was a teenager, he ate everything in sight. After a big meal (1/2 hour later) he would be asking what was for snacks cause he was hungry!!! I thought that he had someone else stashed in the house and was feeding them too. He ended up being 6'6" tall so I guess he wasn't stashing the food elsewhere. Now his favorite thing is my cooking cause that means he doesn't have to cook. (He is a professional chef)

Yes I am finding that both my boys are endless pits! Hence my food prep and trying to keep healthy ready to heat meals in the fridge

I found a way to use up the mini meatloafs tonight and nobody will be the wiser! I will slice them up and serve as burgers on buns )))

I blanched 24 pounds of asparagus that I got for $10. I saved the ends for soup too.

I have had a big bin of half-used Christmas Card boxes for many years.. This year I am using them all up. I barely have time to send any, but, I feel that people will appreciate hearing from me no matter what is pictured on the front. After all, I liked them enough to buy them at some point and while I usually like to send relatives and friends who know each other different cards, they may see that someone they know got the same card from me that I sent to them.
Since I have moved this year, people need to know my new address. Then I can get rid of yet 1 more bin in my need to purge extra things I don't need or have room for.

I used old Christmas cards for gift labels this year rather than getting a new package of labels

I asked for a price adjustment at Costco. Call of Duty is on sale for 15.00 less then what I paid and I had bought two (one for my son & 1 for my nephew) so that's nearly $40.00 coming back to me.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.
