Tim Hortons regulars launch Tuesday boycott over minimum wage response

Expect wait times at a handful of Tim Horton’s locations to be a lot busier than normal this morning and it has nothing to do with a demand for coffee. Protests are planned at a number of locations as some store owners cut employee benefits to offset Ontario’s minimum wage hike. The biggest turn out is expected at the company’s headquarters in Oakville. Must be nice to have had these benefits to begin with. I can say I have never had paid break times or paid birthday day off. I was lucky to get employee benefits, if the company offered them & always had to pay for 1/2 of them.

Trudeau asked how it feels to be first PM to 'commit a crime' at town hall

At Tuesday’s town hall in Nova Scotia, the audience pulled no punches when asking questions of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as he kicked off his town hall tour across Canada. One woman in the audience even asked him how it felt to be found guilty of a federal crime. Decked out in a white T-shirt with the Canadian flag across her chest and a matching baseball cap, the woman asked Trudeau, “I was just curious as to how you feel about being the first prime minister being found guilty of a federal crime.”

Good afternoon.
Happy New Year!!
But so far it has sucked big time. I came in to work on January2^nd started up the system only to find out we have been hacked and RansomWare installed. Send us Bitcoins and we will restore your systems (maybe). Becauseit happened over the holidays, the backup system also loaded up Ransom Ware andit was corrupt too. Our individual computes were fine but the server was toast.We gave the IT guy a couple of days to try and recover it but so far no. And ofcourse, we are not going to pay someone to steal from us, so we have had to almoststart from scratch. It been a very hard 1-1/2 week, but we just finished ouryear end. For me its only another 1200 to 1500 documents and I will be allcaught up!! I did see the Musical box last Friday and they were great onceagain!
