Congrats! When's your wedding?

Not engaged nor dating! But someone in the extended family did get a ring recently so the current guessing game is will the couple marry this year or next year. And a cousin of hers has been dating for a few years-the speculation is that he may eventually ask his girlfriend to marry (there is a question of whose faith will prevail should they wish to have a family).

Main reason for starting the thread, @Natalka , is that this is the early start of consumer shows for this demographic (brides and grooms) in Ontario. I probably have missed some other shows but saw ads and outdoor signs this month about upcoming shows. Suhaag is aimed at the South Asian Canadian wedding market and there's a magazine on newsstands with the same name. Found out about the magazine about 13 years ago.

They were advertising something in the local paper for the Parks Commission in the Falls the other day - so I imagine there is something coming up
