4 days after the new loyalty program launch-probably connected.
Feb. 19 will be six weeks' time since the Jan. 8 sign-up for the cards began. Here's hoping there will be mail soon.
As to the price increases on the loaves-we as shoppers were aware of the price of flour had gone up (hard to see $4.99 anymore as a sale price for 10kg bags-$7.99 is the new sale price), but reading that 10cents was added each year to the bread prices is plain greed.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

@bhlombardy - wow, no wonder you're not a fan of prepaid cards!
Lots of great ideas for using those prepaid cards - thanks everyone.
For the record, I'm not a fan of the prepaid visa/mc and I have never purchased them. I have received several as goodwill gestures for poor customer service or in a promotion. Actually, I did have one bad experience with one I received from P&G - the $5 prepaid card acted like a credit card so when I went to applied it toward a $15 balance, it ended up doing a credit card charge for the other $10 to some bank in the US. That was a hassle. Had to convince the manager to refund the total charges, paid with my usual cc, went to another store and did a $5 only purchase with the prepaid card, then called P&G and gave them hell.

I'm sure it will vary from person to person.
If you want to know YOUR status, you can go back to loblawcard.ca and click "check your status" and login with the registration ID and password you (should have) created at the time you originally applied.
I applied bright and early the morning of Day-1 the site went live... (January 8th) My status hasnt changed, and to this moment still reads "Your registration has been received by the Program Administrator."

That registration confirmation said within six weeks but other processes including fraud management could mean card arrives up to 12 weeks after registration.
I just checked my status and it's the same as @bhlombardy posted.
I really want to get the card this week and have the food drive donation completed.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

I'd say she is eligible to apply for the card as the age limit seems to be applicable now. https://www.loblawcard.ca/
For all the store chain knows, your DD could have gone to do your shopping and bought bread.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Apparently you can't use the card in SDM . Maybe SDM was not part of Loblaws, when the bread fixing was taking place
Not sure, when exactly Loblaws bought SDM .
Weird you can collect points at both places now, PC Optimum , plus SDM now sells lot of Loblaws products under the PC brand name, but you can't use this card at SDM .
In fact If I were Loblaws I would encourage people to use the card at SDM since they are overpriced store ( higher margin for Loblaws ) as opposed to a low price store like No Frills ( lower margins for Loblaws )
