Whoever gives me a chocolate covered zombie will suffer.

    cough cough.

Next: Anyway, moving along, we have the usual grocery flyers: No Frills, FreshCo, RCSS. After that, who knows? probably a coffee break

Want to buy me a coffee? You can! But, you don't have to! In fact, I encourage you not to. ('Cuz postage is ridiculous). But, if you insist on it...well, you can drop a buck, or two, here: paypal.me/cyn88canada I emphasize, you do NOT have to -- a coffee icon tossed my way is gold. + =

Since I don't do my groceries until Thursday I thought ahh damn I missed the potatoes at No Frills for $1.77. Then I see Food Basics with potatoes for $1.47 lol.

See one thing about food basics. While the potatoes are a good deal. Things like the Franco American Gravy they think is a good deal at .99 cents. Other places have it for .67 cents and .77 cents.

Every store has their loss leader strategy to get foot traffic into the door. When one trip is all one can do, maximize your chances at one store with the best option.

Saw the pineapples and thought that it's time for a luau buffet...

Oh yeah I know about loss leaders. I Liked when no frills had ground beef for $1.00.. It just seems like food basics overall prices are usually not as good as walmart as a whole. I have found whenever I shop at walmart most of the items I got there were 20% more at food basics.

Walmart seems to be the only place selling regular ground beef, if you like 2lbs at a time. Every other store is selling lean or extra lean beef. I missed the memo last year when I ran into that discovery for taco time.

I don't buy much ground beef but do sometimes so didn't notice it. I like the 20 pack of frozen burgers at walmart for $15.00. I often think oh I'll make meatballs but then just grab the big bag of great value meatballs for $9.00.
