This movie just happened to be on the Bell Movie network the other day, I recorded it knowing nothing about it.
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close ( both heartbreaking and joyous 10/10 )

I was about half way through the movie, DD passed by and asked what it was, I quoted the title and of course my bookworm DD said she had read the book. ( by author Jonathan Safran Foer ) I am not as evolved as her....I do read, but enjoy movies more.

I totally agree with you , I would give it an unexpected 9/10 as well. I am not a huge action fan but the action sequences, even though they were animated, were (uhmmm) incredible...LOL

I just loved Jack Jack and the racoon too!

Jurassic World (2) : Fallen Kingdom

meh, fun escapism and I am a big fan of the franchise for nostalgic reasons but it is kind of in 3 discombobulated parts, each of which could stand alone and are connected but dont really fit together. Kind of like that last sentence LOL

7 out of 10 for me

DH and I went to see that film and honestly I thought I was going to be too scared but in this one the dinosaurs did not frighten me as much as in the previous films...I'll give it an 8/10

did 3 movies off of the PPV over couple of days.
Such a great deal ( $5.99 ea ) when all 4 of us can watch them at home over a 48 hr window.

Pacific Rim 2...I rate it 8/10 but the guys might rate that one higher, it was more THEIR kind of movie.
Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri 10/10 I kept meaning to see this one, glad I finally did.
Terminal ....was such a shocker/twist of a movie ( I admit I am easily duped! ) 9/10 ( Margot Robbie, Simon Pegg, Mike Myers )

Sometimes I view a movie just because of who is in it and asking myself " why have I never even heard of this movie ? "
So it went with a flick called Jungle with Daniel Radcliffe.
Quite a gripping scenario about being lost in the Amazon jungle, but it wasn't until the ending credits that I learned that this movie was based on the real story of best-selling author Yossi Ghinsberg. ( back in 1981 )
I truly enjoyed the story, Rotten Tomatoes was a bit harsh on their rating, but I give this a solid 8/10.

    Wasn't Three Billboards great, @walkonby ?

    Tomb Raider - 7/10
I suppose if you compare it to the video game, or even the original with Angelina Jolie, you might be disappointed. But if you go in with an open mind it was pretty good... imo.

ohhhhh.. @Linda Evans , I was trying to decide between renting Rampage or Isle Of Dogs from the Bell Movie network.
I chose Isle Of Dogs and although it had its quirkiness I still liked it a lot. 8/10
I had fun trying to guess which actor voiced which dog. Got most of them right except that darn Byran Cranston, knew the voice but simply could not place it.

The last minute gets a 0/10
    It was a TERRIBLE ending!
