hubby wanted a used stool for his made over garage (its super clean and organized) so we messaged a person on kijiji last night and offered 20.00 reg 25.00 for a wooden one -well this person wasn't on top of his game so we didn't get it

off to value village this morning found one for 6.99-i had a 2.00 cpn when you spent over 5.00=4.99 nice sturdy metal with an orange padded seat ,just a little bit of rust so I cleaned it up pretty good saved 15.01 from not buying it the night before -lol

I did one round of 8 Campbells Chicken broth

The campbells deal is really confusing because I had to take it to customer service and they messed my refund and rebuy a couple of time but in the end I paid 7.85 for a total of 8 of them
2 x Buy 3 get one free (websaver)
    2 x CO51 of 2.00 each
    .48 each
Relooking at the new bill for the broth she gave me scop on 2 instead of one (There were a few items on the bill so it really gets confusing

Also did one round of 6 x Catelli Bistro Tri-Colour pasta at 2.27 each (3 different varieties)
    I used 6 x 1.00 coupons
I used 6 x 1.00 off each (Caddle) and 2 x 1.00 when you buy two bonus (Caddle)
Free with a bit of overage
Im still waiting on my first cheque from them so even if I do not get the money I am still happy at the 1.27 each

Edit again I cant believe how many times I had to edit that one, I really need a vacation

The aurora Walmart at Wellington and 404.

The upc code on the sale sign on the Chicken broth matched the Broth on the shelf but the upc code on the sale sign for the beef broth did not match the upc code on the Beef broth so i did not buy any of those.

Gotta love those RCSS clearance deals! I picked up a number of the same deals as listed above (thanks MillieH and johnb56789!) plus these:

and I was very happy with my Snickers deals since I had a digital 600 PC Optimum points for every Snickers, any size or variety:

Snickers Snack Size package of 10 @ $ .74 . . . after the 600 points (60 cent value), these worked out to 14 cents per package!

Also at RCSS, Tilda Rice is on sale this week:

I had a digital PC Optimum offer of 2,000 points for Tilda Rice, any variety or size:

    23 bags of Tilda Rice @ $2.00 per package = $46.00

    23 x 2,000 points = 46,000 points = $46.00 value

So, 23 packages of Tilda Rice totally FREE when you factor in the points value!

If you are going to eat it within two months, apparently you can just freeze them without blanching. If left longer, they will be mushy.

However, I like to do them so I have them during the winter, so that requires blanching to stop the enzymes.
I just clean the cobs, and put in boiling water just long enough for the kernels to change colour, which can be three to seven minutes, depending upon their size.
Immediately take the ears out and put in ice water to stop them cooking.
Dry cobs off when cool, put in freezer bags.

To cook from frozen, put in boiling water for five minutes.

Now I just need to go out east to get ten cent corn! Here they are fifty.

Thank you cyn88canada for posting all the Ontario flyers early. I see fresh corn prices are going up. Walmart has corn for 15 cents each.

Corn is 15 cents in Quebec Walmart and sale ends tomorrow. I need to check my local flyers tomorrow for corn when I get my publisac. If no sale, then a trip to Walmart at 8:00 AM.

Went to Walmart to get 15 cents corn.

Someone posted on another forum about M&M's,95g for 70 cents. The price is like $2.xx
I took 2 bags to scan and it is 70 cents.
There are 3 flavours, mint, espresso, and raspberry.
I bought the mint and espresso. They are good.
