Don't bother with online inquiries when it's an instore offer. A lot easier to get it resolved by customer service while you're still there.
The people who respond to those online inquiries never seem to be too bright, in my experience

Lol--- same can be said for the instore employees sometimes too---I did inquire today at customer service about that and the girl told me that they can't add points (aka, she doesn't know how to), and that personal offers only are done online. Of course that makes no sense because how do you reconcile mistakes in in-store or flyer offers that don't show up. I was also missing the 2000 points for Dove shampoo---
Oh well, on the whole I have saved over $1100 with my PC points, so I am not going to be too critical. It is all small potatoes in the scheme of life's issues!

Oh, and also under the brag section, I did manage to buy 10 bags of mulch for 24 cents each! Now I just have to lug them from my car to the backyard without pulling some muscle!

I went to Loblaws this morning. I had a spend $30 get 3000 points offer and forgot that it works on every $30 spent. I got 6000 points plus 1000 for eggs and 600 for chicken. The highlights of my shop were those beautiful little 50% off stickers on:

    2 chickens
    breakfast sausages
    sausages
    bacon
    eggplant parmagiana
    3 salads
    burgers
    Marc Angelo meatballs and souvlaki

In total with a few other things it came to $64.54, saved $49.73 and made back 8600 in PC optimum points.

Have to agree with the knowledge/'brightness' of the PC Optimum employees who handle inquiries. Worst so far was it took 4 separate online inquiries and a phone call (Where I was told offers don't combine, says the employee, but all my receipts would say otherwise). Got the points I should've through 3 separate points adjustment line items (Was suppose to be a total of 16,200. Got 2,400 on my original bill, then 6,600, then 600, then 6,600). Sometimes I really hate PC Optimum, but it is still one of the better points programs I find.

SDM has Head and Shoulders 400ml shampoos/conditioners for $4.99 and bonus 3000pts when you buy 2. Combine along with the $1 off smartsource/P&G printables and today's 20X offer plus 5000pts when you use PC Mastercard for an even better deal.

Completed most of my RCSS points purchases. Will continue to buy Knorr soup & Knorr Selects as I visit RCSS throughout the week.

    36x Knorr Soups $1 - 1,000pts = free
    12x Pampers Aqua 56s $3.49 (pm SDM) + .45 hst - $3 coupon + 2,000 points = -$13.72 [12x x $1.06)]
    22x Knorr Selects $2.50 - $.50 coupon - 2,000 points = free

NOTE: I had Customer Service scanned all Knorr Selects (pasta & rice) and they qualified for the 1K+1K points. The Sidekicks DO NOT have the glitch and do not reward points.

Total of 9 checkouts to ensure:
    - only 4 Knorr soups for PMing to No Frills
    - only 4 Knorr selects for PMing to Metro
    - only 2 Wipes to stay under the $10 coupon limit (avoids calling CSM)
    - paid with points (with some exceptions)

The Optimum system has been corrected and Knorr soups are correctly posting the points.

Pampers wipes ARE NOT posting points. Easier to get points at Customer Service (today anyways) instead of points inquiry, as I had a hassle getting 20K Knorr soup points from yesterday's purchases, but worked it out with a Optimum Rep on the phone after 3 attempts by email.

I see more Knorr soups & Selects in our future.... (edit: and/or Knorr Gravy to bring total to $10 so can redeem 10k per transaction.)

BTW, carefully check the expiration dates for all Knorr products. Many are soon expiring or have expired.

@Cata , maybe more?? Today only, it was 20x on $50 spend, and if you paid via your PC Financial credit card, you earn an extra 5,000 bonus points. You did a fantastic deal at SDM, buying very needed essentials at a steal!

I did pay with PC Credit Card, but because it is only linked to my optimum and not my husbands I am almost certain I will not get the extra 5,000.

When I walk around the store I look for signs that have prices ending in 4 .. They seem to scream my name .. ha ha We also have a bunch of local people who post their finds in a thread on here..

If I see someone post in a different store.. I make a mental note and peek at the price of that item when I'm in and scan items too to see if the price is lower than the sign on the shelf. There are also clearance areas in the store where most are stocked. @Tannie
