Hello fellow qbees. It’s been awhile since I’ve visited this place. Is Q any good still? I haven’t listened in such a long time. Have been disappointed with all the changes over the last few years. Djs let go, programming changes and then the big shocker...cancelling psych psunday and letting Andy Frost go. So sad.

Anyway, just want to say hello to all the regulars here. Special mention to Heart, Jester, Rocky and h-team.

Hey Mechman, have fun on Friday at the Joe show. 2nd time for me. Can’t wait.

It's Monday, Q sters,
The last Monday of the month. We actually had 2 dustings of white stuff each morning on the weekend, but both are melted. The little Rodents should have a half decent Halloween, warmer, but wet.

Boston Red Sox won the World Series in 5 games. Apparently Price helped out this time. He won MVP.

Indonesia Lion Air flight with 189 on board crashes into sea

Breaking news from overseas -- 189 people are dead following a plane crash in Indonesia. The Lion Air flight carrying 189 people crashed into the sea just minutes after taking off from the capital of Jakarta. Retired US marine fighter pilot and aviation consultant Steve Ganyard says flight data could point to a suspicious cause for the crash into the Java Sea. Divers are still trying to locate the wreckage.

Jewish communities across Canada hold vigils for Pittsburgh victims

It was a sad, uplifting and inspiring vigil in Pittsburgh for the 11 people killed Saturday when a gunman opened fire at the Tree of Life synagogue. The city's mayor, Bill Peduto challenged hatred, guns and politicians Sunday night. Jewish communities and citizens across Canada gathered together over the weekend to commemorate the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting. Here in Toronto a vigil to honour the victims is being planned at Mel Lastman Square tonight.

Boston Red Sox down Los Angeles Dodges to win 2018 World Series

The Boston Red Sox have won their ninth World Series. Steve Pearce hit two home runs and David Price gave up one earned run in seven innings of work as the Red Sox topped the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 in Game 5.

Welcome home Electric Viking.

I am fine with some of the programming changes on Q107. There are quite a few "newer" songs that I do like and I am glad that they are playing them along with our old favourites.

The new DJs, I am still having a hard time adjusting to. Kolter and Fred sound alike to me and they both sound younger than they really are. I am glad that the Derringer crew are still there as well as Joanne Wilder. Her voice just perks up the airwaves.

Well, that was my take on the new Q. I still listen to it most of the time, but I also still listen to Boom 97.3 as a distant second.
