It's an indication of the web, I think. In Ottawa, we have a significant number of free book shops, most in the downtown center. A couple are generalist, and they endure in light of the fact that they're close to the voyagers territories and exploit the walker movement passing by. Others are particular: French just, New Age, Religion, Feminists, and so forth.

By chance noticed that a tweet mentioned an upcoming (in 2020) bookstore closure in downtown Toronto ON. Sigh-look at that woodwork.

L'Express Toronto has indicated that the French bookstore Toronto Mosaique Bookstore has closed its doors on St. Clair Ave (via e-mail to readers).
Don't forget that Ben McNally Books (also in Toronto) has its lease ending in August of this year-its closure is coming along too.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
