Did not get much done today, starting the end of the last week I started to feel like I was getting sick again (think it is the emotional drain still). I was surprised that I was up so early yesterday but today I totally slept in until 8 am which is surprising as I was in bed by 10 pm last night.
I must be fighting something off as I have taken two short naps (under 30 minute each) on the couch which is very unusual for me, normally I cannot nap.
The only things accomplished today was a pot of Chicken Noddle soup, running the dishwasher, emptying the dishwasher and reloading it. Just means I will need to do more after work this week.
Tomorrow night I will need to pick something to bake, I have a training session Tuesday that I will take baked goods to for people to snack on well they learn.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

@Ciel just read your post, so sorry to hear about your breast cancer diagnosis. Please stay positive (you can beat it) and keep us updated.
Tried to stay frugal this weekend but when I saw Christmas solar lights for $2.77 each at Home hardware I splurged on 8 of them. I no longer care that they have Christmas prints on them as I leave them outside all year long as they change colours which I love. Also bought hen manure for my newly planted bulbs to keep wildlife away.

I went after my laundry to The big box store down the street I bought a seasons greetings coir doormat that was on sale for $6.99 regular 8.99$. I wanted the snowman one but I waited to long and they only had that one or this holly vine one left. I also picked up some fruit flavoured black Licorise for $2.49. I paid 10.45$ and got 4 points. If you make 500 points it’s 5$ off.
Yes I like my points programs.

@Ciel so sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but it is very good it was found so early. You should have lots of hope that it can beaten!!
Oh, you sound like a tough, capable woman, but you must have a good cry - or many more, at any time - it's a healthy thing to do. You have been thrust into this journey, it changes one perspective.
You are in my thoughts and I will include you in my prayers, Ciel.

Happy Monday everyone! Snow is in our forecast this week. I have appointment to get my winter tires put on Friday. Don't have far to go this week which is good (Keeps me close to home too which is good!)
Leftovers from last nights roast are in the fridge for tonight. I will take out a pork roast tonight to thaw over night and toss in slow cooker in morning.
For lunch today I brought 2 boiled eggs, rye bread (will toast) and sliced up cucumbers. Perfect healthy lunch!
Have a great day everyone!

Snow tires go on DHs car this week and them mine in two weeks, we could not get the appointments on the same day & we will do his 1st because that is the vehicle that our son drives and he has limited winter experience and we already getting flurries and frozen roads. @greentires4me I love my points too, in fact I have speaks sheet to keep track of my savings and the vast majority are PCO and Air Miles. I was in the RCSS on the weekend and the cashier said to the person in from of my "you have a lot of points, no really a lot" she had over $1500.00 worth and had no idea.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

I went to the liquor store for someone and got ID . First time in a long time I was ID buying anything. She was rude but I said yes I have ID. Side note I am 34 years old last time I was ID was when I turned legal age and was in this province for thanksgiving at 19. That’s okay I passed with flying colours. Hehe.
I came home and there were cops pulling over cars left right and centre. On the main drag.
I then went to shoppers and picked up a box of senses kit Kats from the Christmas section. It’s an assortment of truffle, salted caramel and hazelnut. The salted caramel is good. I also picked up a amazon gift card to buy something for the person i went to the liquor store for. It said on my amazon account “if I redeemed an amazon gift card $100 or over I get 7.50$ more” I don’t usually put that much into it at one time.
