Anyone that see's the Pork picnic roasts, and is planiing omy buying over 70lbs to make sausages,snack sticks ect. Note that these are BONE In roasts, so you will loose a lot after deboning.
If you have a costco near by , ask the meat dept if they have a case of prok picnic roasts they can sell you. All there stuff is already deboned, and skinless. The last time I bought a case, which was 10 days before Christmas, the cost was $1.35 a lb.
To me thats a better deal, as you don't havew the waste of the skin, and bone.
