I was in Best Buy yesterday and SCOP'd some 4k movies.

Along the main thoroughfare throughout the store were a few cardboard BOXING DAY displays of movies (DVD/Blu-Ray/4k alike).

Several popular 4k titles were STICKERED with $18.99 price tags. (not signage, not shelf tags, but actually stickered on the movies themselves.) -- there were no dates listed.

I picked up "The Meg" from the display (tagged at $18.99) and proceeded to the actual movie section of the store. Here I saw The Meg (identical item, same UPC) shelf-tagged for $29.99 -- but with no sticker attached. I ALMOST swapped them so I didnt have to deal with picking the sticker off the cardboard slip cover when I got home. But then looked up the price online to realize that the current price was indeed $29.99. Going to the checkout with the $18.99 price tag attached would give me solid SCOP argument.

I then proceeded to pick up and price-check the other 4k titles from the displays that were also stickered at $18.99 -- Titles like:
Ready Player One ... Tomb Raider ... The Matrix (to name a few) -- almost all of the titles I checked are now back to their regular price. (which ranged from $30-$40) but still stickered at $18.99

I took my haul to the counter and got all of them SCOP'd down to $8.99 each*
(*SCOP rule is you get the item free up to $10. If it's more, then you get $10 off the lowest ticketed price).

So I walked out of there with over $200 worth of movies (after tax) and paying only $10ea (after tax)

    .
As a reminder: The other SCOP rule to be aware of is that you only get the price correction on the FIRST of a specific item. The other items have to be different. -- I mention this because some clerks may want to envoke this first-item only policy (not in this case, but I have had others cite it in the past when I was SCOP'ing 4 different kinds of mustard). Even though they are all movies, by buying different titles they all are different items. As long as the UPC is different, then it IS a different item.

    .
(your local store's titles and availability may vary)
Scop is only for unstickered items so technically you shouldn't have gotten scop

I've had the same debate before and called the SCOP in the past. At that time they verified my claim.
While I read that policy online at the SCOP website just now, what you say does appear to be accurate.

However, the SCOP signage in the store is a bit ambiguous as it reads "or any other displayed price":

    Attachment 347949

I'm not exactly sure what makes the indivual price sticker different than any other form of pricing. I would have said that it holds even MORE weight to be price-tagged incorrectly.

In any event, they honoured it, as have others in the past.

I'm just getting around to posting this but last week at No Frills I price matched Breyer's Creamery Style Ice Cream to Zehrs' for $2.99. When I checked out at the till I looked at my receipt and noticed there was an in-store PC points offer of 4000 points per tub of ice cream. Fortunately for me, I went back and picked up 10 more tubs. I came back a couple days later and bought 10 more tubs. Free ice cream is awesome! Being paid $1.00 per tub is even better!! This is the best deal I've come across in a while!!!

Last night found clear out of treseme and dove conditioners on sale for 1.99 at SDM. Also there was one left for .99 of herbal conditioner. Snatched up the dove and herbal. Left the treseme for someone else to buy.

The points offer was printed on the price label at my local No Frills. It said 2000 points but on the receipt it showed as 4000 points. Wish I could help more but I can't.

Went to SDM this afternoon. They still had some Xmas stuff, so grabbed a couple gift bags at 50% off, as well as 2 Terry's Chocolate Oranges for $3 each (reg $7 or so) since they are DH's favourite.

Best non-Xmas deal was on the All Bran Honey Nut breakfast bar. They are regular $4.29, but this flavour is on clearout for only $1.25 (until Mar 1). I only ended up picking up one, since they all have short expiries (Jan 13, 2019), but $0.25 per breakfast is pretty reasonable for me next week!
