Ah the joy of having possible kidney stones saga continues. I feel like utter crap I really wanted to go out today to the store it’s suppose to have a snowfall tomorrow first one of the new year I honestly like snow just not the ice patched snow we usually get here. My stomach and my kidneys at first get strong amount of pain then none at all some pain then none at all. Omg this is got to be the worse pain yet. I want to scream, I want to kick and I want to leave my house other then totally over doing it yesterday. I really need some retail therapy...

I waited all night for a friend I finally called it quits at 12:30am where I went to sleep. She said she be an hour and not long and that was at 7:30pm she didn’t roll up until 1:30am. Yeah an hour I really believe you now. Maybe I will just give my friend money for the ferry for food. Instead of little things she might want she gave me a list last night of possible things she wanted.

I also waited for some money to and they didn’t come until close to 11pm.

I had a dream about a downstairs tenant who said they were kicking me out telling me to leave because I was making so much noise the last several nights. I told him he needed to leave he needed to move on. I am not making any noise whatsoever and he can blow it out of his butt.

Okay I need to do something I guess I am taking some ibuprofen.

Shoes arrived Thursday-thanked my old pair and binned them. Relaced the new pair-love the traction but boy oh boy no wonder my forefoot seams popped on old pair. Those seams are tight on my foot joints. I did three walks yesterday, first one was at slow speed given the new shoes. Second time, little toes got antsy and began to hurt. Walk three-lower legs and main joints in feet were talking protest...

Managed to make a pot of curried lentil stew yesterday morning. Popped into Walmart-saw my desired coat at $20 but it was a size small (burgundy; the navy ones were XS). Men's hooded coats with trim-formerly $79.95, also $20. Could be a good shovel/outdoor coat deal for the men. Did not find anything else on clearance that I could use.
Bought an extra 37 cents in postage for my tax return to add to the P-stamp. If I had not included two pages that were not applicable but I wanted CRA to see anyway, my envelope would likely have been 30g only.
Evening-visited Winners (for another Woolite bra bag for me, two mochi treats, and a pair of Cuisinart towels), DollarTree ($1.25 Celestial Seasonings 52 ct camomile tea (score), two Yardley oatmeal and almond soaps and Mambo candy), and Value Village (had a list of departments to see and wow did I go a little wild). Best surprise find was the $4.99 pkg of s/m Depends with side Velcro tabs-intact. Did get charged tax for the package (pharmacies and stores don't charge tax on incontinence supplies). I put the Depends in the downstairs bathroom in case Mom needs them (she let on that she is using disposable undies sometimes as her Poise pads are not always enough). Found a men's wool blend knit hat for $1.99, a 13 pkg of men's cotton hankies for $3.99 (I'm keeping three of them for myself), 2 hand towels, 1 large towel and a pair of face cloths plus a couple of other items. Got a survey coupon that will get me $2 off next purchase over $5 after I complete the survey. Main reason for VV visit was to look at winter coats (not much as most are dark or ski type) and white long-sleeve shirts (spotted a few but did not have hands free to try any on-next time!).

I could not resist Walmart's lean ground beef value pack pricing (the small 450 g packages were not on sale as one package was $6 at the $11.xx per kg price while the value packs were priced at $6.59.kg) nor the $2.47 Old El Paso dinner kits. My 1.4kg beef package was cooked this morning and using a weigh scale and three bowls, I managed to have 3 generous kit-sized amounts of seasoned beef (one to use today, one for tomorrow and third sometime next week). Found a $1 off coupon from the Stuff and Stand dinner kit (save $1 off the purchase of an Appetizer kit or Hint of Lime shells-May 1 expiry); there wasn't a coupon in the other kit (not stuff and stand).

Fortinos had a few new coupons on the Coupon Zone board but they were not the Chinese New Year ones mentioned in the coupon scan thread.

Despite telling brother and Mom we had plenty of corn flakes when they were compiling their grocery list yesterday, sibling bought yet one more box. I had a box purchased last week so there will be cereal for the month.

Was able to vacuum the living room and my room yesterday and I found my bank passbook. It had not been seen for a couple of weeks and I wanted to update it. Happy I sparked some joy!

Happy birthday to members celebrating this weekend! Thinking of @Andit (happy birthday) and @avoncallingu and @jasperandchar as well as other members who have been busy with life. Hope you all come in this month and post!

I crave a dessert for today but am out of ideas. If I had @SassyAshley 's apples and cranberries, I'd just cut up the apples (with peels) and add the cranberries and bake the lot for 30-40min with a little nutmeg or other spice. We ate the bananas, so the oatmeal chip cookies will have to do without the bananas. Guess that will work!

One upside to milder winter temperatures today-less likely to impact the temperature sensor on the dryer! Now to watch and wait to see where the melted snow will flow as it recedes. Few birds have dined on the seeds left out last weekend but I saw a squirrel yesterday enjoying the seeds for a little while.

My wool blend socks are showing toe wear. I may get another week out of them before they too join the bin. No luck on finding a new replacement pair but I am questing this week to find it.

    Question of the day:

How many more weeks of winter do YOU think we'll have before true spring arrives?

A: probably 8 weeks and they'll be messy ones. All the more reason to get indoor crafting and tasks done, so when spring ARRIVES, I'll be outside and you will be too!

Green Tires-I have heard that kidney stones are the worst pain possible-not sure as I have never had them, but somebody I know was told that at emerg when they arrived in terrible pain with kidney stones. I hope they can get your pain sorted very soon. Take care.

It’s been a busy day, lunch and a walk with friends and came home with a pounding headache and DH and I had plans tonight so everything I planned to do today went out the the window and I napped instead which helped. But that means Sunday is laundry and groceries.

Productive day! Lots of laundry done. Youngest DS has clean bedding. Groceries done. Made 2 trays of mac and cheese and have chicken breasts and a striploin roast in oven now. Christmas tree and decorations finally down! Gassed up the vehicle.
We decided tongo for drive to casino for dinner last night and watch hockey game on big screen. We ordered lots of food and brought home full meals each for leftovers. Used free food comps and decided to gamble a bit since we felt like walking around and i was lucky again! Put an extra $255 on my mastercard to cover shopping/gas today plus a credit for new shoes i hope to buy this week. Put the other cash in my wallet to use as needed.
Ds will have healthy school lunches all week. No money for the cafeteria for him this week. I fried up eggs for his breakfast sandwiches in the morning

Hope everyone had a grest weekend.

She dies not want to live with her friends any more the are driving her crazy and the Rules that was in place are not being followed. She has a long list of reason why it's not good for her to be there. I sent an email to the Landlord to let them know she will not be renewing her lease agreement. Another exp I see in the future .We are thinking to help her get a place on her own.

Yesterday I went to shoppers and spent $70.35 and obtained 10,975pts.

Today it snowing outside and there is no salting trucks on the road. It looks unpleasant to drive in and it sticking. I went to the ER again by ambulance in real pain this time. Was given Tylenol and ibuprofen when I first got there. Then sat in a wheelchair in the waiting room until I was called to another waiting area inside the RAZ unit. Till finally a doctor came and saw me and talked about this back pain I was having I said what a fing joke it’s not back pain it’s kidney pain you all are stupid here it seems. I never said it was back pain I said it was possible kidney stones. It’s coming and going in waves the pain. And it’s sharp stabbing pain and it’s uncomfortable to pee. So they came over with toradol shot and gravol and morphine pills. And put me back into a wheelchair and put me over to another waiting room where the lab tried to draw blood. But i had no wrist band so that was like a wild goose chase. Then my mother showed up after I asked her to come. And she tried to tell me to eat something and do A and B as I sat there as the pain fluctuated. She was giving everyone advice as we sat there waiting. The doctor came back over and said they are booking a CT scan for tomorrow. And sent me home with morphine to take for the pain. My mom drove me home but stopped at Walmart to pick up provisions for me i just want soup crackers and gravol and she got me like the whole store. She dropped me off telling me to get my cart to pull it inside I said I wasn’t going to do that. So I walked inside and asked one of the staff to help me upstairs with some bags.

So at least this doctor is doing something where all the other ones weren’t. I am at home I am tired going to have a nap I am sure the morphine is doing this, whatever I will go with it.

Glad you got some pain relief and your Mum helped you out. Hopefully the CT scan will show what is going on.
