If you have an air miles account and have never subscribed to Crave, you can take advantage of this deal.
However, you do have to put in your credit card info to get the 3 free months (you can cancel the subscription immediately and it will still continue). I do not like putting in cc info--not at all--but I've been thinking about subbing to Crave and, so, the inconvenience might be worth it to me.

I did that on Xmas Day - bought the Chromecast and got the promo for Crave - so far I like netflix more

Just note that the free trial is only for TV shows and not their movies...but still a decent trial so far as some of their TV show selections are quite good (Good Doctor, Handmaid's Tale, Letterkenny...)

I just signed up for alt tv from Bell fibe it's a streaming service for $15 no receivers needed my bill dropped from $170 to $128
This includes crave showcase ne the basic channels

I now have bell alt tv ($15) Crave is either included or was one of the 5 extra channels I chose for an extra $5

Wanted to watch the new Star Trek, and some movies. Killing Eve was good. But almost everything else I want to watch requires an additional $10 a month. $20 a month for streaming is just too expensive. I'm going to cancel. I like Good Doctor, but you can watch that on regular tv and it's not some premium HBO show, just CTV so why would I pay more?

The channels that come with Crave+Movies would have cost me $50 a month just through my satellite (AMC is in a $35-$40 package, not standalone), so the $20 a month is definitely worth it.

As for show recommendations, it really depends on what you're into. Veep, Broad City, United States of Tara, Cardinal, Sharp Objects, Picnic at Hanging Rock, True Detective, and Orphan Black are all good. I personally enjoyed Hard Sun. It's messy, but entertaining. And also short, at 6 episodes.
