    I went to Shoppers for the 20x event. There was 1 cashier and a lineup of about 7 people so I decided to try the self checkout even though I had coupons and had never used it before. Someone came to help me after several minutes but the card reader wouldn't work so I had to line up after all. I got:

    4 x tena @ 14.99 (regular $26 which is nuts)
    1 x Ritz crackers

    Total $61.84 - $8 = $53.84
    Earned a total of 30,500 points between Ritz (200) Tena (2,000/$10 = 12,000) personal offers and 20x.

    I don't know why they had 1 cashier on a Saturday morning of a long weekend

    One of our local malls had a promo today for Earth Day through H&M. If you brought a bad of used textiles reveive a $5 mall gc and $10 in H&M coupons.

    Took a bag(I often donate here anyways). Used my gc in conjunction with my Body Shop rewards towards a new waterproof mascara. A win win. Also, recycled my mascara wands as they were looking to use them on the animals!

    Yes it was! Until Apr 30 I believe. They're saving them for animals to groom them and remove nits. They will be sanitized and repurposed in this way.

    Thanks to @Laurabelle81 for her brag; I went to Walmart and was able to get a couple of the Melitta pour over filters. The timing is perfect as at work we are no able to use personal appliances like a coffee pot in our office. We have a commercial coffee maker in the staff room, but the coffee is awful. Works so well!

    Did this transaction twice for two separate cashback accounts. One CO51 rebate was $3, other account $2
    Therefore earned $8.66!

    AT RCSS: Four 4X90g packs Dove soap pm'd NF $2.97 each, two bottles of Dove body wash pm'd Shoppers $2.99 each
    After instore 5000pts, digital offer 3600pts and 6 X $1coupons-->$5.58 OOP

    Noticed my digital Dove offer still on my app---repeated same transaction tonight

    Total for the day for 6 brewers, 8 4pk Dove bar soap, 4 body washes...paid $2.50

    Ever since they put self checkouts in SDM people have been complaining about the lack of cashiers and long lineups on a few facebook pages I'm on. I think they aren't hiring as many.

    I recently read an article that they are trying to force customers to use the self check outs and purposely reducing cashiers. That employees are told to encourage shoppers to use self serve checouts.

    I'm sorry but I refuse to use self check outs. I used to work at Shoppers as a cashier while going to high school and college, and that job helped pay for my education. People need jobs and to not be replaced by machines. I also refuse to use them at Walmart and grocery stores.
