I’m kind of regretting having changed to Public Mobile. I’ve had nothing but problems with my line in the month and a bit I have been with them.

Phone calls are constantly dropped...6 times in one call, 3 times in another.

Just not a very happy camper right now.

I really couldn't tell you what fhey're up to. Public Mobile even claims that the call issue is fixed.

Ironically, with all the problems in the last month (plans expiring in error, texts not working on $15 plan, dropped calls), I've yet to face any abnormal service issues. I'm actually wondering if there could be an issue with specific plans.

There wasn't anything like that 2 months ago. Earlier in the month, you could get a similar plan with 4.5GB of data for $33, but only if you ported in from one of Bell's cellular brands. This offers was mentioned earlier but has since expired.

Public Mobile offers a plan that has unlimited province-wide calling for $20. This plan doesn't include text messaging and doesn't include any data.

For $25, you can get unlimited Canada-wide calling, unlimited text messages, and 500MB of data. (additional 500MB and $2 discount if you use the autopay payment option).

A couple of little odd things about them are:
    1. They don’t accept Mastercard debit cards - only Visa debit
    2. If you use a credit card - it must have the same mailing address as your Public Mobile acct

The billing address entered for payment does need to match the address that the credit card issuer has on file. However, the Public Mobile self-serve account's profile address could be anything, even an obviously fake, non-existent address. These two things do not need to be the same.
