I have an offer for 1,000 PCO points for every $5.00 spent on kitchen prep and dinnerware. Does anyone know if that includes kitchen appliances like a coffeemaker or a microwave?

Take the machine to self checkout.
    Scan the machine.
Go to the page where you are ready to pay.
It should show you points earned.
    If no points, cancel transaction.
This works with in-store offers and I'm pretty sure it works with personal offers.

    You're welcome.

Also, this works at SDM for in-store points too.
DO NOT scan your card and get the cashier to go to the page where you are ready to pay.
You will see total points earned on the screen for in-store points. e.g. bonus points per items bought
When you scan your card, you will not see points earned before you pay.

My favourite trick!!! I always say, can you hit total please? and then they say, can I scan your card? and I say, I'd like to see my total first so I can check how many points I'm going to get Most don't understand, but appease me anyway.

Anyone else get 500 points added yesterday as an adjustment dated May 25? I have no idea why both our accounts got this since neither of us has any claims outstanding for any amount atm.

Hadn't thought of that. It would seem a bit odd, at least to me, but I suppose they could be awarding the points separately for each day instead of each account's total amount at once. I'll have to remember to check my history again over the next few days to see if the 500 repeats.

I got 500 points on Saturday and 2500 points today.
I thought I did 7 days for total of 3500, but that's OK, I'll take free 3000 points.
And I'm in Quebec too, LOL. We don't have a No Frills.
I even saw this commercial twice on CTV, LOL.

My DD is still a newbie, so I'm trying to teach her how it works.
She usually accompanies me when I do a SDM shop so she sees first hand how it works.
One time, she did it by herself.
She told cashier to hit total, cashier says she can't do total until card is scanned. I said next time just say you want to pay.
And cashier convinced DD that she won't get bonus points if she redeemed.
And I said, listen to mommy because mommy is always right, LOL.

My wife had 2000 points adjusted in today but my account has not had any unknown points added in. Just going to have to sit back and wait to she if she gets the rest of her points and i get any at all

Thanks for posting about the hauler game points. I just checked my account looking for the ‘extra’ points and yes, got 500 and then 2500 points. I also noticed that another 15000 points from a MasterCard click and collect bonus was posted showing last Sunday’s date.
When this program works, I get so excited.

I had an offer of 200/1.00 carrots and bulk food. Spent just under 4.00 on carrots and 14.00 bulk. this is the response I got....submitted 3 x bc no adjustment. Should I waste my time again? Never had a problem in the past with redeeming and earning points. i paid 10.00 oop

Please be informed that if you purchase using your PC Optimum points through redemption, you will be unable to earn the PC Optimum points from your personalized offer if it did not meet the criteria stated on the offer details.

For the offers "Spend $X, Get Z points" and "Spend $X or more, Get Z points", you will earn points if the qualified spend on eligible products/brands at the specific banner is equal or greater than the amount required before taxes and after all applicable discounts, including PC Optimum points redemption, and excluding purchases of tobacco, alcohol products, prescriptions, gift cards, phone cards, lottery tickets, all third party operations (post office, gas bars, dry cleaners, etc.) and any other products which are provincially regulated.

20x will net you 114,000 points
    20% will save you $76

It all depends if you want the instant savings or points for later. I’d say points for later because they could be worth more on big redemptions days.
