My onions are doing wonderfully, celery is growing like weeds, have peppers on the pepper plants, basil is huge, Rosemary, thyme, and oregano are all looking good. Lettuce has been harvested a few times, Rhubarb is huge, sunflowers coming up like mad.
Peonies are lovely, lilacs are almost done, but made some wonderful lilac jelly and lilac honey this year, so they did not go to waste! (The lilac jelly is about the best jelly that I have ever made, quite a stunning flavor that the lilacs have!)

Oooh, maggiespice! I love peonies, and your lilac jelly and honey sound beautiful. Does the lilac jelly have a pale lavender colour, like the flowers? I would love to see pictures (of your garden, too!).

I made two batches of the jelly. One batch was light pink, the other was amber in color. The difference was how long I let the lilacs steep for. I think the amber was a little better tasting, as this is the batch that I let steep overnight.
I will get a photo of my garden and post it this week as well. Beautiful Garlic BTW!

Arugula and green peas are at about 2-3 inches high already. Slow movement on the lettuces but there is sprouting. Carrots and radishes are likely miffed I'm not watering regularly (given that rain seems to come along about every three days).

Arugula is growing awfully quickly! I hoed over the tomato, herbs and radish areas (another tiny radish with huge leaves is left there) because nothing is emerging after 5 weeks. Will find other herbs and flowers to plant quickly, as today and yesterday rain is visiting in volume. Nothing in the parsley and carrot zones, so they too will get different seeds.
Some mixed lettuces also give me joy but I left the weeding for far too long (the weeds have crowded around the lettuces). My green pea plants seem to have shrugged off growth due to lack of watering-they have not grown much in the past week.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

The video likely explains why a fallen tree over a week ago had a huge white fungus growth at its base. Neighbouring tree has signs of same issue. So the roots felled the tree!
Today, I removed all of my lettuce crops, left the snow alyssum flowers (which bloomed about 5 weeks after planting seeds into the ground!) alone and hoed over the garden. After some thought and arguments over the weekend, I'm directing my energy to other things. Only major regret was not getting any rosemary seeds to germinate-I love the herb in my food!
I have two big shopping bags full of arugula and some mesclun. Salad will be a daily meal for at least two weeks!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

I love alyssum! I have some planted, but it is only an inch tall - no flowers yet.
The only way I have had success getting rosemary to germinates is to start them indoors on a heat mat and under a grow light. They take ages to germinate. Rosemary is one of my favourite herbs. We freeze the leaves covered in olive oil in small ice cube trays.
