Another weekend shopping trip with my friend... About $350 or so spent for well into $800 in groceries... A few highlights...
Kraft BBQ Sauces (3; about 8 batches): $5.94 - PM(Foodland; $2.94 OFF) - $3.00 WUB3 RCSS/No Frills Coupon = $0.00
Heinz Ketchup & Diana BBQ (4 & 2): $22.48 - PM(Fortinos; $7.54 OFF) - $6.00(2 @ $3 WUB3) + 7,500Pts(In-store) + 2,400Pts(600Pts/1 Heinz) = -$0.94
Chicken Wings (Fresh; 4 trays): $72.00 Approx - PM(T&T; $44.82 OFF Approx) + 14,400Pts(Approx) = $12.79/4 trays
McCain Fries (8): $28.64 - PM(No Frills; $13.60) - $8.00(8 @ $1) = $7.04/8
Can't remember much else, it was a pretty crazy checkout for the main shop at RCSS, then we did a few smaller shops at RCSS, No frills, and we were going to do our Ontario PM shopping at her Walmart (Whitby), but they have changed their price match policy, it now virtually mirrors RCSS, so no reason to shop there anymore, they lost our business... And that will add about $100/month back to my friends costs for groceries. We did so much Ontario wide PM'ing there, and saved so much with the Chinese flyers... It was great while it lasted, so we will have to work out how to save back that $100/month...

I enjoyed " browsing " the Thrift store today, spent way too much time in there but came away with this pillow kit for $2.99
Never been opened, has all the wool, full instructions, printed cloth, zipper, piping, even the needle was there! I love the everyday senior's 10% discount and they charge no tax!
Also paid .99 for a swatch of Aida cloth measuring roughly 14" x 14" (clean, folded never used thanks)
I was very tempted to buy the old days ( 70's 80's styles ) Simplicity and other brand patterns but at $1.00 each and the off chance I might not sew any of the items ever, I wisely left them there.

I used to have great luck at thrift stores once In a while as well for kits of all with kinds; others with good intentions are our great finds!

Sobeys (ON) has a one-day Blue Friday promotion. One of the deals is 100 bonus Air Miles when you buy 4 boxes of Cheerios, on sale for $3.99 each. So, early this morning, I did this:
28 x boxes of Cheerios @ $3.99 each = $111.72
earned:
700 Air Miles from the Cheerios deal
100 bonus Air Miles for spending over $100.00
5 regular Air Miles (1 per $20 spent)
for a total of 805 Air Miles = $84.73 value
$111.72 (paid) - $84.73 (AM value) = $26.99 for 28 boxes of Cheerios = 96 cents per box!
(best before dates on the boxes are April 2020)
I redeemed 1045 Air Miles ($110.00) and paid $1.70 cash.Last edited by lotsasavings; Fri, Jul 5th, 2019 at 08:34 AM.

garden center closing so they have the 50% off sign up
Found a hanging basket that is pink stickered at 50% off
reg. $25, pink sticker price $12.50, paid $6.25
This is a deal because:
1) has pussy willows, pansies and tulip bulbs
a)pussy willows have come back for us, 3rd year in a row
b)pansies have overwintered for us, no problem
c)tulip bulbs, also will be back next year
2) If we waited for the 75% off sale, it would be gone.
