I went to no frills today only for a few items like Clamato and ended purchasing 57.13$ after taxes.

I bought:
no name coffee whitener 1kg for $4.99
2 No name peach slices $4
2 Chef bordiee $2
Baking Soda $1
Matt’s Clamato $3.67
Salted crackers $6.47
Glad white tall garbage bags $5
3 Kraft bbq sauce $3
Case of Pepsi $5.67 plus $0.60 deposit
2 packages of Mini cukes $4
Smokehouse bacon $3.97
Old mill bread white loaf $0.46
Saputo feta cheese $2.77
1kg of red skinned potato salad $5
Straws $3
I scored 1200pts on the crackers. I used $30 in points.

I also went to the liquor store (no I am not drinking again) I picked up:

12 pack of cans of hey y’all $22.95 deposit $1.20

8 pack of Canadian cans $15.10 deposit $0.80

1 can of Moscow Mule $4.13 deposit $0.10
Total: $42.60 I paid with a $50 so $0.40 change.

I was looking on the shelf behind the till and what cause my eye was vodka skull I bought it $8.95 deposit $0.10 paid 10.40.

Liquor is expensive good thing that’s not my habit anymore.


So you know what I forgot was chips I really wanted chips and didn’t buy any.

Homeward bound!! On Monday I will start the drive home from TO-Calgary. DH flew home already and DD will stay here and work for the rest of the summer and then fly back to uni on the West Coast. My Mum is mostly recovered from her fall in March so I will leave her to get back into her routine-she still does have homecare coming in twice per day but no longer requires round the clock care-thank goodness!

Just booked some hotels for the trip home-mostly retracing the route we drove to get here. I will have been on the road 5+ weeks when I arrive back so it will be nice to be home for a bit.

afternoon all...


plan for the weekend is basiclly to rest. i need to go to shoppers for a few things... my pc offers this week are dismall.... ugh.

pride parade is tomorrow.... i am not sure if i am going or not... part of me wants to ... part of me wants to sleep all day.lol

next week, work is going to be a bit ... rough. but it is what it is..

@cath007 You asked about bitcoin-it's a pricey electronic currency that you pay $$$ for. There are a few ATMS that dispense the coins in Canada. Even the CRA will tax that currency, that uses block-chain technology to verify transactions.

Bitcoin is not traceable or very hard to trace. Someone had a lot of nerve telling you they wanted bitcoin as ransom money.

@Ciel : Thank you for the explanations!!! Yes I barrrely knew what bitcoin was.They wanted 900 wow...1 bitcoins is equivalent to thousands of dollars so totally crazy person!

Good earlier evening everyone!!! We are in a canicule in QC ,31 degres now...noneless to say the ac is still on and for the night also probably.Went to a breakfest to Subway with father, we readed the Journal of Montréal and the Week End sections.Then off to sdm for 3 packages of lays chips at 1,49$ great deal even without the tasty rewards coupons…(dont have some my printer dont work…) .Then walmart to purchase those gift cards and yes my trade worked ye!!!! Then public Harvest for rotisserie chicken and cheese and they had bbq tasting and corn of the cob it was Simply delicious.Then iga for macaroni salad and chicken stuffed rolls.Will buy my hot dogs at maxi or metro another day.Then I came accross a video of person who lost someone by suicide does talk of that..very heartbreaking…..and a long article to go with it...kindda depressing ,...I did put it in my fb for a memory of my brother and to explain to people what we feel about this…. the head and heart never forget….. Anyway will try to enjoy the rest of the evening and eat a little bit because I have no appetize with this video and this heat..Have a wonderful night everyone!!!

forget to add that my trade of mccain coupons and kraft cheese never showed up but ironnicaly I found the coupons by myself after...so I will wait 2 more week and report that person...a enveloppe dont get lost by magic ,,,even if she had made a video....this is the 2 times it happen to me,,,,so ...grrr

Have strawberries to eat,raspberries,banana,cantaloup and pinneapple,cherries and green grapes dont want to waste those fruits even they are in the fridge...maybe I will made a bananas loaf… time for blueberries too
