I work near the airport and I can hear all sorts of jets from the air show rattling our ceiling here at work.

Last night we had another band jam. Here is a rare video where I actually sing:



It is amazing that I did what I did because it is hard to sing and play at the same time. It is like walking and chewing gum at the same time. Some folks can do it, others can't.
Oh yea, my son did the guitar solo.

Out with August & in with September. It was an interesting Jays game today. Unfortunately they lost, but not until the 9th inning, otherwise it was mostly 3 up, 3 down for both teams. Jays didn't get 1 hit all game. They did get 1 walk, but the Astro's pitcher threw a no hitter. The 2nd one of his career. The crowd was doing the Canadian thing, cheering him on at the end & gave him a standing ovation when the game was finished. Bet that wouldn't happen in the US, the losing team's fan giving the winning team's pitcher a standing O.

Jules Verne novels have inspired a new moving picture from French artist Georges Méliès, a fanciful frolic chronicling a lunar landing and a meeting with inhabitants of the moon.
