The best thing about getting old is you don't have to high five anyone.
    Ever.

You could be part of a great Calendar!!

The Contilia Retirement Group in Essen, Germany made what is probably the best calendar ever with a few of their seniors.
According to German press, 5000 calendars were printed.

They were given out to residents of the senior center, along with relatives and staff.

The calendar models were interviewed about the project and said it was a ton of fun to dress up as their favorite actors.
The shoot was done with professional stylists and photographers to make sure everything looked as cool as possible.
The oldest senior involved with the calendar was 98 years old!

Being older means you learn something new every day,
doesn't matter it's something you already learned and forgot.

Whats good about getting old? Well, having a great laugh when your grandchildren ask you if you had cell phones when you were Young. And then you show them a dial phone (we still have a working one in the basement) and they dont know how to use it. Feels great that you can show them how something works because they are always showing you how to use all those things on a cell phone, computer, smart tv, even all those buttons on new cars that you never knew existed or how to work them!!!!

My idea of the "perfect night in" getting my jammies on at 6pm eating lays in bed while watching The Conjuring.

Except for your choice of tv programme, I support this " perfect night " ....I am chicken sh*t when it comes to scary shows.

getting older means you get to really laugh at these!!

    AMI getting to that age?

I found this timely, because todayI was in a store that sells sunglasses, and only sunglasses. A young lady walked over to me and asked, "What brings you in today?
I looked at her and said, "I'm interested in buying a refrigerator."
She didn't quite know how To respond.

I was thinking about old age and decided that old age is when you still have something on the ball, but you are just too tired to bounce it.

When people see a cat's litter box they always say, "Oh, have you got a cat?" Just once I want to say, "No, it's for company!

Employment application blanks always ask who is to be called in case of an emergency. I think you should write, "An ambulance.”

The older you get the tougher it is to lose weight because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

Did you ever notice: The Roman Numerals for forty (40) are XL.

The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble.

Did you ever notice that when you put the 2 words "The" and "IRS" together it spells "Theirs?"

Aging:Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying aboutyourage and start bragging about it.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to knowwhyI look this way. I've traveled a long way and a lot of the roads were not paved.

Ah! Being young is beautiful but being old is comfortable.
