Loblaws of all places! Bought 14$ of sliced ham and chorizo sausage (hot of course!). Had a 400 points per $ offer on PCO so $5.60 back in points. All good!
Then the iceberg lettuce was incorrectly scanned at self-checkout so the staff there did a SCOP at the self-checkout! Did not know they could do that. $1.99 saved!
Not alot but hey - all $ in the pocket!
Cheerio!

Superstore at Scarborough Town Centre in-store price of $1 for each of these 10lbs bags, beets, potatoes, onion and carrots. Flyer sale was for $1.98. It was nice surprise, might just be a weekend sale, so check it out!

On the weekend at my local No Frills they had Ambrosia apples for .25 per lb!! Granted a few were bruised so I had to pick through the bin but what a find. Loose bananas were.39 per lb and I PM'd oranges to Walmart for .87 per lb. Happy to have our fruit re-stocked at such low prices.

I was not sure where to post my question; I'm hoping some SCers will read this thread:
How much of a discount are Costco "HOT BUY" items? They don't post regular prices for comparison.
TIA

Hot buys are items specially purchased by Costco. So there isn't a regular price that they post to compare. I usually will google the item to see what other retailers are selling them for. Usually the prices are much better than what other stores/websites charge. Hopefully that answers your question.
Want to add - the price usually includes shipping, making it a great deal. Whereas I have been charged shipping with Canadian Tire.Last edited by barbis9; Fri, Nov 1st, 2019 at 07:07 AM.
