@cath007 a stress fracture can occur without having a fall, etc..it doesn't take much to fracture one of those little bones in a foot or even near the ankle; I suspected that's what you had since you didn't mention a scar, cut, etc.
You may have to wear a brace/cast or something, depending on how and where your fracture may be.
It's a tough time of year to have something like that with the snow and ice out there, be extra careful.
Take care, these things do pass, and I hope your school can accommodate you, and that you can get to your classes.
Best of luck!

Good day, everyone!
Very bad evening and night for me - things are a bit better now. I will go soon to try sleep a bit.
This photo is of my paternal grandfather.
This is a picture of him taken in 1917 at the age of 19. Because Ukraine was under the Austrian Empire at that time, he was forced to join the Austrian army. This is a part of his autobiography - translation of towns is inadequate.
"At the time of the first World War in the year 1916 I was called to the army and fulfilled my obligation on the Italian front and was there wounded by the city of Gertz(?). I got first aid in the small town of Laygoff(?) and then was sent to a hospital in Tsyeshyen (?) and was operated on. [note he was hit with a bullet behind his ear, an injury which took away his sense of taste to a great extent]
After a three and one-half month stay in the hospital the army health commission judged me unfit to go to the front but to fulfill my obligations at the railway station (North Banhoff?) This I fulfilled from the month of February 1917 until the end of the war in 1918, Then I successfully got home. At that time they were cancelling Wilson's laws and all the people went to their own countries. And I came to my country Ukraine, rested and announced myself at the military station in Sokal'. And because I had papers from the Austrian Army commission and as a Ukrainian presented them, they assigned me to the gendarmes (police squad).
Since there was an outpost in my village Starhorod they gave me the proper papers so I could present myself to service in three days which I did on the second day. There were already about twelve officials there and they accepted me to service and after serving I stayed home. My service I fulfilled serving the villages of ...{he lists a series of villages one of which is Voislavichi} .
The service was hard because the people did not believe in their own laws. But time went on and in spring came to us a terrible sickness, typhus. It saddened our house of which died my father and sister but somehow I came through it. When the military/guard (?) station ran away to the east, I stayed at home because I was still not well. When spring came and I was well I seeded the field......I found my wife Julia Kozak in the village of Voislavichi. On the 2nd of November, 1919 we were married."

Good morning all
Its a nasty day out on the roads so please be extra careful. It’s my younger DD first winter season driving on the road and what a stress this is taking on me worried all the time if any thing is going to happen . Even though she had her licence for over 2 years she does not like to Drive because of all the aggressive driver out there.
A drive for my DH this morning to work took him 1 and a half hour which usually be a 10 min drive.
Its super cold out so dress warm everyone.
Have a great day all and Thanks for listening to me

Morning gang.
Snowed in yesterday...so I went off grid and spent the day plowing, snow blowing and shoveling...oh and of course playing out in the snow with Cooper. He just loves the snow.
3.5 hour commute into the city today...wonderful!
Better get to work.
Have a wonderful day folks.DANGER

Sorry about the language at the end if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, but I had to post
