Most of our limes come from Mexico and I knoe earlier this year mi/late-summer), there were severe and lenghty droughts in those regions where most of those lime groves are located.
I dont know the current status, but I would suspect that if the groves were damaged, that for them to recover and bear more fruit may take another season, or longer.
Other vendors have been getting them from South America which are/were more expensive.. and might be the cause of them not being on sale.Last edited by bhlombardy; Sat, Jan 4th, 2020 at 10:24 AM.

Fortinos sometimes has a reduced package of citrus that often contains sweet limes that look so much like lemons. Look for the stickers-I've been fooled a couple of times thinking I scored a package of lemons that were mostly limes!
As for green limes, sometimes Fortinos has one or two packaged with random citrus or rough looking lemons. YMMV.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
