I'll be working on a painting I hope to have done for our DD's birthday in March, of a photo she took a couple years ago, and had asked me to paint. I'm still not happy with my rendition of footprints in the snow. More practicing ahead!

@Lynn49 - MIL lives in Kucura, province of Vojvodina, country now known as Serbia - the former Yugoslavia. She is well enough to still live at home, with the youngest daughter - five years younger than me - living there with her husband and five kids. Actually I think one is still going to university in the US.

ha ha !! I clicked on Post Quick Reply after typing out my semi-lengthy message and POOF! I was somehow logged out and the post has disappeared!!

@Natalka kudos to your MIL !! We should all be so blessed to live as long as her AND in our own places. Must be such a comfort for her to have her youngest DD and the g'kids there.
After I was done with my torture scrape and poke session ( aka: hygienist ) at 8 this morning I headed straight to Loblaws.
The 2 day flash sale was a very good one. 500 ml PC Maple Syrup for $7.49 and 3,000 PC bonus points!
I bought 6!! Applied my last $10.00 PC Gift card ( from that Royale paper promo ) to the final OOP.
$44.94 minus $18.00 in points, minus $10.00 GC.... OOP was $16.94 or a mere $2.82 per bottle! Insane savings.
I loved it so much that I whizzed past the other 2 stores I had intended to browse through on the way home...wanted to end that outing on a high note!

It's so nice in my living room with the sun beating down. It's 21 degrees in here without assistance from the furnace. Imagine my surprise when I checked the outside temp and found that it's -4. At least my houseplant jungle is enjoying itself right now
Your Taffy was sure a sweetie @Natalka , very pretty coloring. Ragdoll? My friend had one once upon a time and that cat thought he was a dog. Fetching and coming when called - so very un-cat-like
